Don't worry, I'm sure they'll pull a jerk move lime in D1, and make IB a mayhem playlist but all the ornaments unlock with melee and precision kills. #neverforget

Let's face it, Mayhem is the most fun a lot of people have had in D2 crucible, ever, which is why it went away. If it stayed, no one would play the other modes and that's a problem for Bungie. D2 should have launched with a crucible menu that looked like D1 before they condensed it down to clash/control and rift/supremacy rotating out each week. The launch window was the busiest time and that would have facilitated the ability to have a choice heavy PVP game whilst still having full playlists with short matchmaking times. I still want an expanded crucible menu with selectable game modes, but it's probably too late as the population has nose dived.

It was either remove it or patch the nova bomb glitch which they are too lazy/ incompetent to do properly so this was safer

There was some issues with the game mode with warlocks specically they took it off to fix but who knows when we will get it back

A good community manager would have seen this coming. A statement with reasons and a timeline for a possible permanent return would have been so simple. But then bungie is not in this mess for no reason. This is such a schoolboy error.

8 RepliesI understand that Mayhem was meant to be a limited time mode available only for the Dawning. But with such ill sentiment towards the current state of Crucible, why remove one of the most enjoyable and highly requested modes in the game? Does it cost more to keep the mode running for players? Trials participation is already at an all time low across BOTH GAMES. Why destroy what little PvP numbers you have left? This makes no sense to me, Bungie. It’s as if you don’t want us to play your game and have fun.

You simply DO NOT matter on a statistical spreadsheet. I thought there was hope and clarity , now i realize this franchise is solely for exploitation. Bungie is done.
