The Last Iron Banner
I love the Destiny series but you guys couldn't do something a little more special? "Here's the last Iron Banner after over 3 years of nostalgia and history, today were giving you the hand cannon and sniper rifle". The whole thing is just slightly disappointing.
Edit 1: Wow, only 3 minutes in with 6 upvotes and tons of support, I was definitely not expecting this, thank you.
Edit 2: Holy shit, the amount of support is crazy, I haven't got any hate so far, even "butthurt" is supportive.

Edit 4: The inventory is apparently refreshing daily, so I'm gonna hold off on this post and wait, thanks again to everyone supporting this.
Edit 5: TheGreatNike has pointed out the timer hasn't been changed since RoI, no stock refresh
Edit 6: Destiny 2 Poptarts look pretty cool.

I have to agree, banner was and is my favorite activity, and when they said something along the lines of " you'll have to wait to see what rewards can be earned " I was expecting more than basically just another roll on two pieces of armor and two guns, now what did I expect? I don't know lol but something haha idk whaddya do

They did give me the hand Cannon and the sniper...... Plus the arms, head, chest, boots a bunch of artifacts, barely hit rank 3. ( All on my alt account)

I'm keeping a Tally of things that go Half-Assed due to Destiny 2 development. according to the score I have now, Destiny 2 better be -blam!-ing Lit for at least 6 months. (Give or Take, due the multiple preferences people have towards certain changes)

1 ReplyYou've got a point. Bungie doesn't have to do anything special, and they never do. But like, how hard is it to do something special? Have an awesome shader or have all iron banner loot be dropping or bring back some old iron banner loot come back. Any of those would have probably gotten me to log on to play it again. Same goes for other special occasions like Bungie day, 100th Xur visit, etc. Simple little extra things that keep us interested to see what the next one will be.

Destiny 1 is a great game so deserved some kind of honor to the Iron Banner players who participated and reached rank 5 multiple times. They should give us a Iron Banner comemorative shader and weapon in D2 for this.

Edited by Lull9: 8/2/2017 8:09:03 PMThey have sold near-god-roll items every single (post RoI) Iron Banner. (Like the hand cannon this time.) The perk pools on the weapons are small-ish with fewer "terrible" perks making it easier to grind for god rolls. What exactly are you whining about?
