I'm Trading in my cloak...
Once D2 comes out, I'll be trading in my cloak for a bond.
During Rise of Iron i felt like playing as a hunter was getting a little boring (I haven't played destiny 1 in a while if you couldn't tell) and the Destiny 2 beta sealed the deal on the shift from hunter to warlock. Dawn blade and the warlock ability both suit my play style far better than the hunter playstyle.
I've already come up with a story about how my D1 hunter was killed during the assault on the Tower and my D1 warlock (who saw my hunter as a brother) takes up his mantle.
Anyone else switching out class mains?

Same. I started a Hunter on day 1 because I thought they were the "Sniper" class. But I will officially be a Warlock for Destiny 2. Blink 4 Life

Titan since day 1 and will be sticking with him going forward.

Started D1 as a Titan Main. Switched to Hunter main during HoW and pretty much never changed. That said, looks like D2 will at least start the same. Titan main it is.

Nope I will continue to main a Warlock with a Hunter and Warlock alts. No Titan this time as I just don't have any fun with them

However, part of this beta's purpose is to evaluate the subclasses, and make last-minute changes. I think that by the time the actual game rolls around, Hunters might be a bit more powerful. Maybe they can dig your poor hunter's broken body of the rubble and nurse him back to health, and he can ultimately return to the fight...

2 RepliesI have been thinking of changing my bond to a cloak for a while now, before the beta. I like relying on my guns more than my abilities, Hunters I find make better use of gunplay, and I like that this class requires more skills in precision and agility than the other class. Also I think my personality is more of a Hunter than a Warlock than I previous though, always though how I like to learn new things and question everything around me was much like a Warlock but I find myself more like a Hunter with my social awkwardness, loner lifestyle, urge to explore my surroundings.
