The real reason why the release date was changed
September 8th was a Friday,
The Nine couldn't have Xur in the tower when the cabal invade and blow it the hell up
The nine moved it to protect our shiny exotics
Edit: this hit trending so I must ask, is anybody else planning to bide their time after launch and wait for the PC edition? I am and I need ways to avoid spoilers for 7 weeks.

3 RepliesThey moved it so that Xur, could make a ton of coin by selling us new weapons on Friday since we lose everything Wednesday and Thursday. They are arms dealers after all. That's just smart business.

6 RepliesI'm going to save up and build a nice PC to run Destiny at 60 or higher frames. I'll have the luxury of knowing what specs are good for it without having to spend a fortune, but I'll play on console for now.

to avoid those spoilers go move into a cave. I will be playing on the one and at some point on the one X unless it is really bad. I don't honestly hold out the highest hopes for the game these days.

Its all for business, activision/bungie know a good portion of console players would rather play on pc at higher frame rate and native 4k but people will also still want to play the game asap so make the pc release date a month after the console so they can double sales, if they all released on the same day they wouldnt sell as many console copies

I already preordered on XB1, buying a PS4 next month and preordering there, and preordering on PC on Monday. I honestly don't think I could wait 7 weeks, lol.

Will they update that or does that mean whoever preordered on xb store gets it pretty much 2 days after?? Anyone know or could shine some light on it?
