Great post... strangely, I'm not stoking the forge, when discussing the vog treasure chests they did say there are only two people in the world who know how many there are. In that case there must be more because we all think we know.... or do we!!!

For example: Hunter - New Monarchy (Rank 25) Titan - Dead Orbit (Rank 25) Warlock - FWC (Rank 25) So I wonder if that'll count or if they want you to have Rank 25 on all 3 factions on one character? Might play the old raids a few times, but Andromeda drops a week before this does so I can't see myself spending much time on Destiny anymore. Plus, LFG/Recruitment is usually only good for a month or two after new content drops, then dies again.

I see the problem everyone is bringing up with the fact that it's all useless once Destiny 2 drops. I totally agree with you on that but I'm excited about them recycling the old raids to current light level because it just gives me something to do while I wait for Destiny 2. Those raids were very fun and it'll be nostalgic to go back and get the Fatebringer and VOC again.

Only way I go for any achievements for raids is if my friends ask me. I feel blah about the game right now. Too many bad decisions with Crucible.

30 RepliesNo light level increase? ABSOLUTELY no point in playing this game again ☹️ I'm not going to kill atheon for the 139th time for a chance to get a gun I liked 2 years ago (and won't be able to use in 4 months). Here's hoping destiny 2 is better than y2 and y3. See you boys in September.

75 RepliesBasically, they give us back all of our favorite stuff just before they steal it away again. I don't want to sound ungrateful, but the bottom line is this that this announcement is really small potatoes when put up next to the fact that none of our stuff will carry over into D2. For those who won't let that fact deter you from playing the "new" content that comes with the latest update, more power to you! But there also people out there who just feel like doing anything with this game anymore is rather pointless. I know I've felt that way since RoI launched.
