1 ReplyMixed feelings. It seems like the AR buff will be a bit to good. Basically they are back with vanilla levels. Levels that where overpowered 2 years ago.

As a bladedancer, who preferred GoM and various fusion rifles, I don't care for the new patch.

I'm just happy that auto rifles have been buffed. Using my old Suros is all that matters to me

The special ammo thing is dumb now I'm only gonna use sidearms. Rip fusion rifles for PvP for me.

I've main blade since Day one on my hunter through all the bs nerfs. This is the final nail in the coffin. I'm done. My hunter will be exclusively a nightstalker. You'll also see more sidearms, invective and Ice Breakers. Probably no land and sidearm combo too

I am an AR using scrub that rarely uses special weapons, so yeah I am pretty happy with it.

7 RepliesSuch a good update. Shoulda been like that the whole time. Too many people primary with shotguns which defeats the purpose of having a primary. Either rock with NLB or UR or sidearms or IB or Invective Otherwise....play the game and stop whining. special ammo drops every minute, you can die a couple times, respawn and the special is waiting for you on queue. It won't be that bad.

I like how some of the responses are so keyed into how salty hunters are and blah blah blah. It's all cool for me as I run all 3 classes. But, I don't think it's ok to nerf shit ever. How bout fix it or dial it down a bit? Or better, buff things to compete. Or better, not nerf things that absolutely no one is "annoyed" about. Remember this, it could be your favorite class next and you're the asshole that runs 3 warlocks or 3 titans(really?). Anyways, let's live the patch out like we always do, find the new meta and kill each other in crucible like we always do. And lastly for some, cry nerf on the forums on 2/15 so that bungie will nerf this shit out of the game even more. Can I get a round of applause for all the nerf crying babies out there? Can I? Let's give them some love yall. [spoiler]every cry for nerf kills this game more and more because you all should know by now Bungo is gonna screw it up. Good job yall![/spoiler]

Dont mind the shottys being nerfed a little because they are op and weve all gotta agree upon that but the level of nerfing is absolutely insane. The pulse rifle nerf is a little silly as well being as both cd and malok are very easy to aquire weapons so surely everyone whos play more than a few hours should have one or the other at least and the auto rifle buff once again sound absolutely pointless but hey this is all speculation and we'll never know until the patch drops and we see the carnage that comes of it

Yes because It doesn't affect me at all. I only use primaries in pvp (Scout rifles) and Voidwalker. I rarely use special weapons. I even have a bunch of auto rifles in my vault. I can't wait to use my shadow price auto after the patch;)

It's business as usual. Every time I get good with something in Crucible, Bungie wrecks it. My Hunter used y1 Last Word... it got a stability nerf. She switched to a pulse rifle... 20% pulse rifle nerf. Now, my Stormcaller is managing a 1.25... Stormcaller gets trashed. And my Titan has been doing well with a fusion rifle... special ammo nerf on the way. Clearly, Bungie wants me to SUCK OOZING BUTT in Crucible....

I'm ok with losing special after dying. I wish special dropped after killing someone with special. Like the oldddd days
