Nf kick for not using Gjallarhorn
Join up with someone from LFG after about 2 minutes got kicked for not using Gjallarhorn. Ok nf is void burn I was using Truth and a void Saladin's vigil , defender Titan. What is wrong with someone of these morons who play this game? The guy who kicked me grimoire was like 3100 mine is 5260. If I'm playing with you I don't really care which weapons you use as long as we get it done. Next team I joined up with we got it done in 14 minutes and I finally got the Icebreaker.
Sorry nf is not void but match game with a lot of shielded void captains . That's why I was using the Truth. My mistake.

Honestly the only time I ever use Ghorn is if it's solar burn. It's fun but it's not the end all beat all.

Friend of mine didnt understand how i kept stomping his kills in strikes in arcburn small arms.... he used gjally while i used zhalo i mean its common sense but doing double dmg isnt as cool i guess

Yea except it's a shell of it's former self. Year 1 example : Nightfall Archon Priest, all three with gjallys and he was dead before he could teleport!! That's why gjally is available to all through a simple quest, it's garbage now. I welcome anybody to try it now even in h/mode strike! I bet you can't down him now with your precious Gjallarhorns. Let alone in Nightfall. I'd roll with sleeper or sound & fury(raid r/launcher) which performs very well.

I also used a void rocket launcher in that NF, for exactly the same reasons you did. In fact I've hardly used my year 3 Gjallarhorn at all since I got it, since a) I remember what it USED to be like; b) doing so would mean depriving myself of my Bad Juju ( my favourite gun ever ); c) there is no way I'm going to use a Gjally with a void or arc burn modifier when I have plenty of other R/L's that will do WAY more damage than a Gjally because of the burn. In fact I have had to learn to bite my tongue when my team mates insist on using it when I know there are better alternatives. I guess a lot of them, if indeed most, never had a year1 Gjally. Glad you got your IB - some good karma there.

3 RepliesI don't LFG often and when I do I cross my fingers and pray that I don't get matched with noobs or casuals. Unfortunately nowadays that's the majority of the player base. Keep on keeping on.
