Just like last year. While anyone can just push me wherever they want, I can't move anyone.

Edit: I know how to side boost, my point is even if I try to bump someone back it never works. It's almost as if my sparrow is too light. I've tried several different sparrows from both styles and the result is still the same.
Most of the time people can just move me out of the way just by touching me. They don't even have to use the side boost.

The problem is, they're most likely not doing it on purpose. They're just trying to hit the gate. In order to push someone, you need to hit them with the front of the sparrow, kinda like a t-bone collision, which tends to happen when everyone is swerving left and right to hit the gates.

You can move anyone being aggressive. Tap R2 and watch them fly across your screen into a wall.

Use it to ram, use it to cut into a gate you'd otherwise miss, and most importantly, use it as a boost as you go through each gate. When you master this, you'll love racing. You're welcome

Thanks for the tip. I would not have thought a side boost left or right would give you more forward speed.

You can also use through grave robber sparrow to blow past people at the end if you need to make up ground. You just hold r2 until your engine over heats pass everything at 1000 mph and explode after the finish line. It's glorious

My sparrow is apparently just slower than everyones😑I hit all the boosts and still somehow get last place while my friend beats me and he missed like 3 boosts it's bullshit

Make sure you don't have hairline triggers active on any controller your using. It doesn't allow the sparrows to go full speed.

Whatever place you are in determines the size of the boost and the amount of speed it gives you. If you're in last, the boosts will be wider so you can hit them easier and they will give you more speed. When you're in the top two spots, they are skinny and don't give quite as large of a speed boost

Yep exactly. Hit the boost right next to another player and they pass you.

Yeah id very much like to understand why or what the hell justifies this. Why is it that some people can shove others, sometimes off the map, while others can't shove people. Glad I'm not the only one here, please help us understand what mechanic you have built on to this event that allow you to push other players and why is it that select accounts seem to be incapable of doing so..... I'm more than confused by this.
