I'm pretty lost on what to do. This is the first videogame I have ever played (and I still havent played. A friend of mine had my ps4 to set it up)
I decided to get Destiny The Collection since it was 20$ on my area, and it was a collection of the supposely highly acclaimed franchise with over 30 million players. And from the developer from Halo, and that game was supposely one of the best shooter franchises ever made. I didn't knew how the Xbox 360 looked like and I couldn't escape from Halo 3 ads xD
Anyway, to end my post, my friend told me to go here to see how this game works and that's is a social game
So, what do you in this game? What's the story?

Walmart is good too. Start your journey there. Just don't make eye contact with the employees at the door who "greet" you.

1.Play the Vault of Glass, get the Foundverdict profit. 2.Ask for fusion rifle nerfs The raids are the best thing PVE has to offer. If it where not for the overpowered fusion rifles like the Light of the Abyss I'd say play crucible.

2 RepliesFirst of all... Welcome. Second: You made a smart purchase. (I wish I only spent $20 for what u got) Third: You will enjoy this game, very much I think. If it's your first game, I couldn't imagine a better one. (With the stuff to do and starting from scratch, you will have TONS of hours in this game. $20 well spent) Last: Always remember to play for FUN, do not get involved with the statistical side of it. Stay away from destinytracker, and guardian.gg, bc if you do, the fun that you used to have will turn into a habitual nightmare that is difficult to break out of. You will lose tons of sleep playing all night, you will fake sick from school, call off work, possibly lose friendships, and you will spend every free moment of your time trying to improve your gameplay up until the point that makes you wanna be the best, but let me tell you now, you will never be the best at this game, or even remotely close, all for the simple fact that there are people that do nothing all day, but play it. They could tell you how much damage each one of their bullets will do under certain circumstances, they will tell you how many hills are on a map, etc, etc. All of this aside take your time and enjoy it, and don't give a damn about other players and what their kd's are. You will have a blast. Add me if you need help. Ps4

Edited by Ken_Malibu: 12/1/2016 11:35:53 AMThe story goes.... scan thousands of things, kill millions of things, farm trillions of things, collect definitely too many things. Get trolled by RNG. The end.

You on right now?

Dont dismantle your very first weapon ( the khvostov)...keep it....put it in your vault. Its a good weapon for pvp and the only way to get it back is by starting a new character. You can get an exotic version later as well.

1 ReplyRun. Run from these forums and never look back. Play it for a bit and tealize overwatch costs the same as rise of iron...let that sink in. Did I mention run from these forums? Don't end up like the rest of us.

2 RepliesWelcome...one of the best games you will ever play. Yes it has its flaws, as well as its toxic members of the community, but I think you will find it very enjoyable overall.

Welcome to Destiny. If you and your friend are on PS4 you should both do the refer a friend quest. There's more info on Bungie.net. I'm on Xbox one so I can't help you. You'll both get some unique items and he can teach you the basics of Destiny. Have fun.

1 ReplyEdited by Zero the Remnant: 12/1/2016 11:57:24 AMThe story will be difficult for you to find... Honestly, best thing to do is take your time and follow your quests. These will take/guide you through the Main Story, & each DLC. Make sure to pick up your daily Bounties everyday as they will help you level faster. I recommend also doing the PVE (Player vs Environment) Gunsmith Test weapons every week so that you can rank him up before you are 40. Once you hit 40, runs strikes, Prison of Elders. It will all come to you in time. That said, only come to the forums when absolutely nessicary. Never will you see a more wretched hive of scum & villiany. Edit: Also, save your Character booster. Try every Class till about lvl 15ish. See which class you enjoy the gameplay of the most. Then boost that one.

Have a dump truck full of salt delivered to your house asap.

My first recommendation is to switch over to the destiny Reddit forumns, they're way less toxic and hate will be much less scarce there.

Edited by Vandal____Heart: 12/1/2016 10:30:52 AMHi, I just started last week, even though i bought the game on release its only now i get started. You will get around quickly, story is short but nice, level is going up quickly and there is ton of activity, daily missions, faction reputation grindings, and stuffs to do and youll be busy for a while. I only tryied Warlock class and im pretty happy with it, i made a soldier but didnt play it, and no hunter yet. I Reckon you follow the story and breaks with few patrols to try dark events that occurs time to time, is pretty fun and theres always people who join and help, and nice items drop, and you level up good on them. Patrol missions are short and give nice money and reputation in factions too, thats sweet if you have little time to play. I just reached Lv40 now and i doing DLCs and some nice fun new arenas, youll get your feet in. I did alone so even alone you can play nice sweet and do ton of stuffs. Theres weapons type for every type of game and im sure youll find a way that fits you. theres no "best" weapon type, just... keep it fun :)

I've always had the most fun with Raids, gotta have a good team and an hour or two, but it's an experience like none other.
-
Hey there, a little tip aside. Find a partner for the "refer a friend" quest. It only works for a short while once you started Destiny. There's info on the main page about it.
-
Leave while you can, the game is shit but addictive, wouldn't even recommend starting it, it's a franchise dead on its arse!

Well, Mr. or Ms. Rose, you have your comments. Enter the Crucible as fast as you can, such a pleasant experience. Enjoy a special Destiny's salute, performed by multiple B (Xbox) button pressing. Plenty of end game content! Don't forget to find your fellow new-guardians at the DestinyLFG.com.

Run! While you still can
