4 RepliesEdited by Soul57912: 11/18/2016 6:22:59 PMBIG UPDATES SMG-11 is losing its Acog scope. New map called Sky Scraper, this is a Japanese themed building on top of a sky scraper. Another map coming mid season, it is a university map only currently available in terrorist Hunt and in situations. New OPs: Hibana: ability to fire 3 rounds of 6 disk that burn a hole the size of half a trap door through re-enforced walls/trapdoors (destroys trap doors) . All can be detonated at the same time, after activation they can't be bandit tricked. Weapons include a pump action shot-gun called the Supernova and an assault rifle called the Type81. Hibana has 1 armor and 3 speed making her great for rushing and getting out of sticky situations. She is given the choice between flash bangs and claymore. Echo: ability to deploy a drone which hovers slightly above the ground. Has the ability to jump up and suction-cup itself on flat ceilings. Once on the ceiling it gains the ability to shoot a rechargeable stun that disorients players hit by it. Much like concussion grenades in other games, moving intensifies the stun. The drone also cloaks itself while on the ceiling so finding it is tough. This drone can NOT be viewed by anyone but echo unless you are spectating him while he is on it. Weapons include the Supernova and an internally suppressed SMG, recoil is similar to the P90 and you can equip an Acog on it. Given the choice between shield and barbed wire. Operators can now have different full-body suits, which every operator now has at least 3 of. There are also Elite skins which not only change the operators appearance but also change the gadgets used by them in texture. They also include a special animation if you are MVP and win a match, there are only 3 Elite skins available right now for Kapkan, sledge, and thermite and can only by purchased with R6 credits acquired by micro-transactions.(does not affect balance or gameplay in any way). Patch was also implemented making the neck apart of the head hit box due to complaint from many about the head flinging back but not head shoting them. Also improved the hit registration by a lot in order to help with latency and lag over all. SMALL PATCHES Ranked games have been reduced from 4 minutes to 3 minutes. Caviera's pistol-small buff to range. HUD in game changes slightly texture wise. Patched impact grenades. There are literally 2 pages of patch notes so I only included important ones. Hope this helps :)

I've played a lot but haven't used a lot of the content (I don't have the season pass to play the operators.. and if I did I wouldn't have played them, Buck is my favorite, and Valkyrie is my defender pick, I would have let my friends play the new guys first) From what I've seen about the new operators in game, Hibana is really good, and Echo is good in the right hands. Hibana has 2 shots, they don't breach through the wall, but they do make a line of sight (I say they don't breach because unless you use both above each other, it won't make a hole big enough to walk through. You can make a crawl space, but it's not a good idea) The projectiles can go through reinforced walls, making them almost useless against hibana. Making a line of sight through a reinforced wall is pretty damn good in my opinion. But if you want to make a really big hole to walk through, thermite is still the pick. Her projectiles can be shot through the wall if it isn't reinforced and is spotted. It takes like 5 seconds to detonate. Echo has a drone on defense that he throws out, which is good just because it's a defense drone. It flies on the ground and has some good speed. When you're ready to fire it, it flies up and hovers above everyone. When you fire, it's an area of effect (I think) sound blast that disorients enemies around it. It doesn't kill people, but it's a good way to see an attacker around a corner, spot someone, a mobile camera, and a way to stun people on the attacking team. I haven't played the new map yet, but I hear it's good. The guns that the new operators have are also pretty good. The shotgun is supposedly one of the best in game. I, personally, would get Hibana as an operator, and wait on Echo. He's cool, and could be really good, but hibana seems easier to play and a little more useful. If you have the season pass then it doesn't matter either way but still Hibana is better than Echo imo

What do you want to know? Here's what I can remember. 1 new map. A skyscraper with oriental inspired housewares -an additional map will be added in the near future. ( the university map from the secret situation ) 2 new operators -Defender: Echo, he has a drone. The drone may jump to ceiling and shoot a sonic way at an attacker to disorient them. The drone may not spot and is only operable by echo. -Attacker: Hibanna, has launcher that shoots a spread of pellets that may breakthrough reinforced walls. The spread is a fixed dimension ( 2x3 ). These shots may be stacked for a makeshift breach, but is intended to be used for murder holes. Pellets may be jammed by mute. There are 3 new elite full body uniforms and those operators have end game taunts. There is a collection of new bodysuits to customize all operators. A handful of new weapon skins. The machine pistol secondary no longer has an acog scope.
