Is like asking someone to be a super bowl champion to play backyard football.
I have outplayed scrubs at 384 light. Dont give me that shit.
Inb4 people say its their right.
Of course its their right. But light will never equal skill. Setting a minimum of 395 light is ridiculous.
Ive played raids where the 400 player was the one -blam!-ing up.

It used to be necessary in year 1. More realistic requirements would be the hard mode emblem or challenge emblems or shader to prove multiple completions.
-
Don't play unless they ask for 400 with challenge emblem, too many iron banner gear scrubs now
-
1 ReplyIf someone is asking for 395 light then I'll teach them how dumb that it I have all 3 characters at 400 but only set foot in WotM NM once and the team broke up on the second round As you said, light level =/= experience
-
makes it easier for chumps to stay alive. especially on LFG, as thats like sticking your hand in toxic waste You know its a bad idea, but you could end up with super powers.
-
People bash others that have never done the raid and saying that in order to complete raids on hard mode, you must have done the raid on normal first. My first completions for the raids were all hard mode. But im not an idiot, and the people i was with explained it.
-
If you havnt managed 395 by now, you are doing it wrong

1 ReplyI've never seen anyone say that light equals skill. No one at all. I don't know you from anyone else in the game. Bit if I make an lfg post and ask for a high light level it's because I don't want low light to be an excuse as to why you are failing. And from my own personal experience higher light players have put the time into the game to reach a level that makes encounters easier. A low light player shows laziness and a lack of time in the game. At this point it is so easy to get a high light level there's no excuse. Some say I have a life and don't have the time. That's fine and dandy but it's still not an excuse. My cousin came back from deployment and was sitting at 346 light. Within one session of gaming for about 3 hours he was sitting at 389 with no raiding what so ever. 75%of that was simply just running strikes. Tldr. Everyone just needs to play the game get your light up and stop complaining. Getting to 395+ takes little time and effort. Just do it.

2 RepliesI don't mean this in a negative way, but you've only completed the last 2 raids around 20ish times, and Kings Fall is only 9 of those. To be honest, unless you lived through the torture of doing Kings Fall 3x a week through LFG, your opinion on Raid requirements is a little ignorant. A few 5hr+ Kings Fall clears with LFG'ers will change your outlook on Raid group requirements.
-
These post are so ignorant raid ll ain't about skill its about the damage intake vs the damage you can put out. I finished the raid at 356 nm and 382 hm. But I don't wanna do it again. Therefore I'm not stepping into a raid with ppl that are under 390 especially tryna do cm. Would you play ToO with a lvl 35? In an attempt to go flawless?
-
I don't mind raid requirements as long as the person posting fits them as well a 382 shouldn't post "395+"
-
maybe one day you requirement crybabies will understand this. its not about skill. its about general knowledge. being 395 shows you play the game. this implies you have the experience to stay alive longer, and are competent enough to hold your own. and yes, there is always an exception to this. my first raid i was 356. i died less than everyone else. but, i was also playing real defensively. even though i wasn't a burden on my team, i wan't really contributing. i had a similar experience when heroic mode came out. i was in the low 370"s. same scenario played out.

2 RepliesI was level 400 on all classes before I completed the HM raid , theres no excuse not being 395 at this point when you can level up basically anywhere
-
2 RepliesGit gud.
-
3 RepliesBitches about light requirements, somehow isn't 400 on any characters. Weird
-
2 RepliesThis goes back to VOG days, where Max light was directly tied to the raid and raid experience...considering we can be Max light without even opening the door of the raid it's nonsense
-
8 RepliesMaybe you're decent at the game, but you obviously don't know the mechanics enough. Otherwise, you wouldn't have a +10 LL gap between your characters
-
14 Replies15 light is a minuscule difference, it takes a 30-40 difference to be noticeable
-
5 RepliesEdited by SickChocThunder: 11/18/2016 3:08:04 PMCos fighting AI programming is the same as fighting a real life living person? If you aren't 395+ why aren't you? I have 6x characters at 400! I agree light lvl doesn't equal skill But if you aren't that skilled, u r going to die easier if you are lower light, and do less damage And I really want to be playing the same level for 3 hrs with people rage quitting and getting no rewards One easy answer to all of this..... Do what the rest of us had to do - and just lvl up! Edit: I play on xboxone and ps4 - look me up if and when you are on, and I'll run a raid with you guys - what ever your lvl I can't promise we'll get a team who will be as willing - but I'm happy to try?
-
2 Repliesmake your own group instead of crying over this lol
-
2 RepliesIt's my right, scrub.
-
2 RepliesEasiest way to try and get decent people. All comes down to skill level in the end, but past researching every persons stats it's the fastest way to get a decent lfg group. Doesn't really work anymore because everyone is 400...but yea, that's the thought process.
-
2 RepliesEvery time I see a post like this I would love to educate you in some math and economics. You'd then understand why you aren't wrong and yet you are.
-
i'm gonna agree i see people posting recruitment for normal WoTM asking for 395+ it stupid
-
9 RepliesThese players need high light just to be able to survive the loading screen. Pity them...
-
Let it flow.....
-
8 RepliesWhy does it bother you? I mean, just read it and move on. Make your own lfg post... ya know, instead of whining on the forums.
