88 RepliesEdited by PhraustStryke: 11/17/2016 2:15:07 PMI find it interesting that Blizzard has Chuck Norris sized balls. While Bungie has none whatsoever. Right here this article states that there are permabans in the game and methods used to preemptively detect cheaters. Along with ways to lock out players from the game permanently even if they try to get a new game. THEY ALSO let the community know who these offenders are! Bungie needs to be a transparent as this when it comes to their "bans". Oh we can't do that because that's name shaming! Really so the needs of the few outweigh the needs of the many? Wow, bungie logic at it's finest. If you guys ban people then why hide the names? You say you don't want the witchhunt mentality but guess what. It's already here, and you are the ones protecting them. If a player is banned by you than we should know. You call it name shaming, I call it neighborhood watch. Blizzard has 1500 players banned. How many have you banned Bungie? Oh wait you won't tell us, or can't you? That's right, in order for you to give a number you actually need to permaban someone don't you? You guys have no balls, and everyone knows it. Hell they are making money off of it. Offering to ddos carry people to the lighthouse for profit. Knowing good and well nothing is going to happen to them. Even if something did happen they will be back in three days, a week tops, doing it again. While you guys sit there letting them do it over and over again. Players getting paid to cheat in your game. Now I know you have no shame Bungie, but this is a cocky slap to your face with a smug grin afterwards if there ever was one. If this level of an insult doesn't wake you guys up nothing will. It's sad when you will permaban people from the forums for name shaming yet the real issue is borderline ignored running rampant in the game. Edited to say thanks for all the comments and likes. Also edited for spelling and to add the following from a response to a comment below... It is not that I what to know who to blame. I just want simple verification on Bungie's part that they are actually doing something about the problem. In the end it doesn't matter if we know who the offenders are. Think about it, if the account is permabanned along with the gt that is tied to it. Than that particular person cannot be targeted for grief for there is nothing to go after. You can't play against, report, or name shame, an account that has been scrubbed from Destiny and that would include everything tied to said account meaning forum activity as well. As for the people complaining about being banned, oh boo-hoo. They got what was coming to them. They will get back on in a week or so doing the same thing that got them banned in the first place. Until Bungie nukes the account for good they will keep on playing at everyone else's expense. Like I said above the reason why they can whine about being banned is because the ban isn't permanent. If it was, we would not see them complaining in the forums about being punished for doing something wrong. Then again being punished for doing something wrong is how I thought it was supposed to work.

Remove skill base match making pvp is a living hell to play with connection issues in skill base bring back connection base, I mean I don't mind losing to a good player! but a bad player with connection issues come on! Wake the -blam!- up bungie and do something bout it

Edited by Stea1th Vixen: 11/16/2016 12:39:18 AMNot only in trials, but in Iron Banner too. It's getting out of hand. I got Dosed in IB, we were way ahead of the other team in score. I was in the middle of arc blade, suddenly my screen goes black. Game didn't freeze, didn't go to orbit, just sat in a black screen for several minutes. Obviously booted from the match. I Didn't get an error code, nothing. I was still in party chat during this time and I was forced to shut down and reboot because of it. Needless to say I was not happy.

1 ReplyThe player population has dropped since the release of RoI and it will continue to drop. Way too many good games released recently or are on the way. Perm banning would hurt Bungie's bullshit monthly active player numbers. At the end of the day they care more about numbers than how the numbers are playing.

When I can play for 3 hours and still face laggers in 80 percent of those matches. I know someone isn't doing their job. I report all laggers. So you can't point the finger at me.

1 ReplyNerf bungos ban hammer, that's shits OP
-
7 RepliesDos attack Saturday while playing this game. Wife's psn email changed from external source sunday while playing this game. Hunter hides with grenade attached to head and takes no damage then kills me with one shot monday. Buff your hammer bungie.
-
Instead of banning people try fixing your game you halfwits. No matter how many people you ban for DDoS there's 50 more doing the same shit. -blam!- this game and it's lame horseshittery. Bungie fails at life.
-
When they told you that theu swung the ban hammer Cozmo, they clearly meant they banned themselves from banning any and all players. Iron Banner this week was loaded chalk full of cheaters and Ddos'ers, lagswitchers. Watching Trials players on Twitch and Youtube get Ddos'd or even Frame/Screen Frozen, only to be dead once the screen unfreezes. You guys and your ban team do such a "good" job allowing all of this to happen, while boasting that you actually banned A player/players. Why bother making a post about it when you are definitly lieing
-
Uyy the ban hammer uyy uyy. The pussy team that allow ddosers in trials... does nothing for the legit players.

2 RepliesEdited by J05EY WALE5: 11/15/2016 1:06:10 PMI've played Destiny for 14 days. I've only tried one game of Trials a long time ago. I was thinking of giving it a go to fill my book. I was wondering, as I have a KD of 1, how long would it take me to get to the Lighthouse 5 times? With a KD of 1 I have a 50/50 chance of winning, so that equates to 426 hours or 18 days straight. I've no idea what a ddos is, or if it's ever happened to me. So thanks for the heads up. If you feel the need for some hammer thing then it's clearly broken. I'll mince around Earth and Mars instead.

7 RepliesActually, I got kicked multiple times yesterday and received multiple messages saying "you like that kick?" So, it's obvious this so called "banhammer" is just a toddlers soft squeaky toy hammer.
-
We're super serial this time people.
-
4 RepliesThis so called banhammer is so limp and useless not even viagra could help it.

I have run in to several instances of questionable network connections, but haven't really experienced anything that could be classified as outright cheating. I would be curious to see tangible proof that cheating is even possible in a game with such iron clad net code and server stability. Consider me shocked.

38 RepliesWhat is this Ban Hammer made of exactly?
-
1 ReplyOh no guys. They are the real deal this time. Better watch out you naughty ddosers. Bungie security will get you. They won't let you do it for the millionth time. They promised this time they are serious. No but seriously Cozmo please take this crap off the forums. People are making an absolute laughing stock of the bungie ban hammer. At this point it misses more than ghost bullet handcannons. Name shaming would be more effective

Any cool kids wants some candy? I have a lot in my car!

Ok Bungie I need to share my opinion about crucible now too... I loved the crucible in year 1 and you had a feeling like man this is fun. But now it's going too far with the crucible. Why do I have to play against Red bar gods just because they're on my skill level? I dont care about the clever dragon being a good weapon. I use it myself and it's pretty solid. But I think it was a big mistake to nerf everything just because of the crybabies. Like Most of the exotics are nothing compared to a god rolled clever dragon or eyasluna or palindrome. I wanna use Suros. I wanna use Hawkmoon. I wanna use Thorn. But you cant play a game for fun with them. U have to sweat the whole day... EVERY DAMN MATCH. Make a ranked playlist for the 'ultra pros' then. But let me play the game I paid for without Red bars and sweatys the whole time.

1 ReplyRemember HALO? Had CBMM and you could change it to SBMM when ever you wanted. Those where the good days. BUNGIE made a good year 1 game but I'd trying to kill it now I assume...
The Bungie Security Team informed us the Banhammer was swung yesterday.
Against someone who tried to spread the word about some DoSers in Trials.
Cheaters beware. Keep it clean out there.
HAHAHAHAAAA!

The amount of cheaters in iron banner was ridiculous.
