SBMM Needs to go
I have played 8 games this morning trying to win ONE! I had above a 3 KD and no wins.. wonder why? You give me fn potatoes on my team.. 1 guy all morning has went positive

For the people saying i need to capture the zones in zone control -
Why should I capture the zones if all my team is doing is dying while standing in each and every zone. Im trying to keep them off a zone. In a game i held the WHOLE entire team off B for half the game. If the other team is dead they cant capture zones. Ill continue watching as idiots on my team get all together in a zone, then run in a straight line to the next zone. Some of you have no clue how to play zone control or control in general.. yall continue trying to capture C while holding A and B.

What do you think will happen in cbmm? If you have a kd of 3 almost all players in your team will be worse than you. You could have noobs on their first trip into the crucible. You will have a wider spread of skills than you have under sbmm so your team mates will be worse There were a lot of posts just like yours in year 1 with people complaining about their team mates not knowing what to do and that was WITH cbmm

It's not kd based is combat rated mm. 100+ combat rating players generally have high stats and elos so even if you suvk you'll match good people most of the time :/

K/D is meaningless in Zone control. Kind of the entire point of the game type. If you baby one zone the whole game (camp sniper, whatever), the other team will just grab the other two zones and win. Playing defense is not bad, but unless you are covering zones when they need it, you are not helping.

12 RepliesK/D ration isn't always a measure of how good a player is. If a player has a .7 K/D ratio, but has 8 captures in Zone of Control, he's more valuable than the guy with 3.0 and 2 captures. Same thing in modes like Rift (which I hate). I once had the most points, with 2 ignites, and we won.....but my K/d was below 1. Do you think the other players thought I sucked? Nope.

Ive been getting laggy red bar players all day today in our teams and games getting wrecked by lag. im so pissed at bungie they cant come up with a single solid solution to fix the connection problem.

You're here saying "I had above a 3 KD and no wins.. wonder why? You give me fn potatoes on my team" but don't realise that with zero zones captured, it was YOU who brought the team down. You contributed NOTHING to the team. If you're as good as you think you are, use that 3KD of yours to help the team, because I guarantee, you were never at the zones with your team mates helping them try to capture them like you say you were. Who's the Potato?

1 ReplyAlso bump because all the awful players are trying to get their shots in. Too bad anyone would take someone with lots of kills, few deaths, and no captures over someone with 5 kills, 20 deaths, and 10 captures. Captures don't mean shit if you just die and turn the zone back over.

1 ReplyI won't offend you like everyone else but I will tell you the truth behind why you let your teammates down and yes I'm blaming you for not knowing the concept of playing control - 1- capture the zones (2 zones will be the smart way to win) 2- stay near the zone and keep enemies away so they won't capture the zone you are guarding 3- DO NOT BE AN IDIOT AND RUN TO KILL THE ENEMY ON THEIR SPOND OR FLAG BECAUSE THEY WILL RESPOND BEHIND YOUR TEAMMATES AND KILL THEM - You already have two flags against one for them there is no need to go get a 3rd.!! 4- Don't be a jerk and run to the enemy to have the First blood and not capture the flag near you first!! This will start sponding the enemy all over the fricking map!!! 5- all you have to do is capture two flags and wait for the enemy to come at you!!! You will get double points for holding the flag and a kill!! 6-Play smart, the game is called control for a reason to control the FLAGS" I've seen people like you pushing from get go and having 40kills per game but still loosing the match and you know why? Because he was a selfish bastard that didn't care to play with the rest of the team...
