Can we buff ammo capacity back to its former glory? (In PvE)
So I just got The Swarm last night. Finally. One of my favorite legendary MGs... and then I died a little inside when I realized, with heavy ammo boots on, I could hold 88 rounds. That's it.
Bruh....
Edit: Seems like 99.9% of you guys are on board! (Well. For PvE. But let's be real. Everyone knew that this was a PvE post ;) )
Make heavy ammo great again!!!
Also. Stop bending PvE over and doing naughty things to it to "benefit" PvP. Please. I'd heart the hell out of that.

1 ReplyI like the ammo situation better now than in Y1. I might be the only one, but running around like a God with a ammo raining down on you like you entered the unlimited ammo cheat was a bit much. I thought it made the game boring. Now I have to at least think about ammo conservation. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, with bonus ammo gear they used to hold 3 magazines/reloads (or more with field scout). I noticed my raid machine gun was capped at 110 now with or without boots. Maybe I'm on glue? PVP is slowly nerfing PVE into the ground. I hear Warpriest and Golgoroth are fun now with added flinching.

Honestly, they need to seperate pvp and pve stats. Ammo capacity in PVE should be ____. Ammo capacity in PVP should be ____. ____ weapon type in PVE does ____ damage. ____ weapon type in PVP does ____ damage. ____ perk in PVE does ____. ____ perk in PVP does ____. Easy enough. The world fixed. All can rest at ease.

Tried the raid for the first time in a long time (bad team, didn't even clear Warpriest), and I was amazed how quickly I was running out of ammo. I'd love them to return PvE ammo capacity to where it was.

While there at it, make primary ammo great again as well, I am running out of primary ammo a lot lately, ammo in general just isn't dropping very much in PVE, at least not for me.

13 RepliesThe thing is, people blame PvP for nerfs to PvE, when Bungie has proven that they can separate the 2 when they want. Play with NLB in PvP and then in PvE and tell me if the max amount of ammo you can hold is the same. If they can do it for that weapon, they can do it for all. Don't blame PvP players for Bungie not doing right by PvE. It's totally on them.

6 RepliesPart of me kind of wants to go back to when with two primary ammo boosts highest RoF auto rifles could hold more than 1000 rounds. When auto rifles had great stability, range, and headshot damage. When the very mention of the Vex Mythoclast would give people a PTSD attack. When Shotguns could roll with hammer forged, rangefinder AND Shot package. In short, what if there were no nerfs?

Something needs to happen I ran one nightfall last week & ran completely out of ammo during the boss fight. Never got a refill like you used to.

I just want to shoot things in a game about shooting, but I can't even do that...
