... instead of Void Spike grenades. They just seem like a more Nightstalker-y gadget to me, since the subclass is all about hindering and disabling enemies.
What about Lockdown, you say? Just have Lockdown double the duration of the suppression effect.
-
Smoke works well at that and and so dose the super.
-
3 RepliesThat would upset the balance of class exclusive Ordnance. Titans get Lighting, Suppressor, and Thermite. Warlocks get Storm, Axion, and Solar. While Hunters get Flux, Voidwall, and Tripmine.

5 RepliesEdited by Rags: 9/9/2016 6:42:46 AMIf you get suppressor grenades then you have to give up quiver.
-
They should give us the second shadestep back, graviton should give a third shadestep, and we should eject suppression grenades from our anus whilst using the ability.
-
6 RepliesSo, basically you are saying all Hunters really want to be Titans. #TitansMasterClass #Hunterswannabetitans
-
After its most recent buff, the Spike grenade actually now out-performs the Vortex grenade, according to Guardian.gg. It would be better, in my opinion, to replace the Vortex grenade with the Scatter grenade. Since Gunslingers have Swarm grenades and Bladedancers have Skip grenades, Nightstalkers are the only Hunter subclass that doesn't have a "cluster bomb" type grenade, and Hunters are the only class that doesn't share at least one "family" of grenades across all subclasses. Either way, Lockdown should have no effect. The Striker's Aftershocks talent doesn't affect Flashbangs and the Voidwalker's Vortex Mastery talent doesn't affect Scatter grenades. Lockdown is intended for zone control. It shouldn't expand beyond that purpose purely for the sake of making it fit into every conceivable build.

5 RepliesThrowing knives. On every. Subclass.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Phantom Skater: 9/7/2016 5:49:02 PMWhy not suppression throwing knives??
I'm joking
-
Yeah, also lockdown should give suppressor a second pulse ;)
-
7 RepliesThis shouldn't happen the suppression grenade ability should only be unique to titans.
-
Nah spike is actually pretty good believe it or not
-
Edited by aidanderson: 9/7/2016 10:51:35 AMNightstalker are already the best subclass in competitive post gunslinger and blade dancer nerfs don't make them better. Also fun fact spike nade has the best kd and win rate (because it's hard to use but good due to blocking off a path.
-
Nah the theme of the class is area denial and traps. Only one ability suppresses.
-
1 ReplyThey already have a super that does that though. Having both a super and a grenade (mind you that can be acquired every 25 seconds) that cause suppression is overkill imo.
-
2 Repliessure why not with smoke and a super that shuts down any other super give them a grenade to do that too do you hunt much
-
Void spike is my fave nade. Dont change it. It owns ppl. They can however exchange swarm for fusion.
-
2 RepliesNah..... I would like to have magnetic grenades for my hunter
-
Spike is pretty good, though if I recall it doesn't last as long now. Which I wonder if it's because of night stalkers. The grenade could last so long that it stopped making the purple cone but it was still doing damage. Lame of me sure but it's like anything else in this game that plays poorly.

8 RepliesWhy are hunters so whiny about everything?!!!! You got everything and you want a suppressed grenade? Wtf hunters are such crybabies.
-
Nope. Too op
-
So have ANOTHER way to suppress supers in pvp
-
Just have Lockdown double the duration of the suppression effect.
No just increase the duration by 50% or so, it lasts a while anyway.
