Honestly man, you need to remove bloom, it's killing hand cannons to a point where one of the exotics are actually gone, same with most of the legendary hand cannons like The Vanity, and the TTK Raid Hand cannon, Hawkmoon is the exotic I'm talking about, and suffers horribly from bloom. There's no more variety in hand cannons anymore, all we see are Last Words, Thorns, First Curse, and Eyasluna OVER and OVER again.
If one of you bungie admins find this post, and read it, I thank you for doing so.
PS:
And I'm surprised why would an Eyasluna, A LEGENDARY! Can easily ruin Hawkmoon, Where is the dominance for Hawkmoon? Isn't Hawkmoon suppose to be better then an Eyasluna? This goes for ALL hand cannons, please remove bloom.

2 RepliesI thought you were talking about the voidwalker perk named bloom, and i was like dafuq? Why?
-
3 RepliesIt does not, I am a hawkmoon main, I have mained it since the very beginning. Hawkmoon is still the best HC imo u just have to practice with it. Hitting consistent headshots with hawkmoon is fairly easy aswell
-
11 RepliesThe fact that they named the gun, eyasluna, which literally means baby hawk moon, seems to point that they wanted the real Hawkmoon to be better. Right now, it definitely isn't.
-
2 RepliesWhy does Hawkmoon need to be better than Eyasluna? Being exotic doesn't mean that you're strictly better than a legendary counterpart, it means you're unique.

1 ReplyThis all started after launch. I remember in the first month when everyone started using their exotics. It was glorious. Hard Light, Suros, TLW, Thorn, Invective, Pocket Infinity. There were so many options. And they were all really good. Now there are just a handful of weapons that are superior to everything else and it's quite pathetic. I would much rather go back to Year 1 and tell whoever decided to change all this shit to pack up their desk and kick rocks. Nearly every weapon has been destroyed. And the only thing worth using are a specific archetype with very specific perks. Unique exotics are worthless. There is no variety. The dick head that decided this methodology was what was going to widen the scope of weapons used in Destiny seriously needs to be fired.

Thought you were talking about void walker subclass perk... Lol
-
100% agreed. Every single time I pick up hawkmoon I'm just like why is this thing just so bad. Couldn't have said it better
-
3 RepliesBloom is killing all of the hand cannons. Only thing saving TLW is its rate of fire and quick reload speed. Eyasaluna just tops all others right now due to its range and stability both being high. Sucks that they just can't give them a little harsher damage drop off and give hand cannons back all their accuracy.
-
2 RepliesJust to sum it all up, bring back the old accuracy from year 1, and make the range steeper.
-
3 RepliesI've seen bloom alot around here. What is bloom?
-
2 RepliesHey, at least this isn't Halo Reach bloom pre-10% reduction.
-
4 RepliesMy hawkmoon works just fine...Also if you're using the raid HC as the bar...just stop now. lol
-
Oh, crap, I just realized something bad. Thanks to a new artifact, Knuckle Head Radar is gonna be a useless exotic. Bungie needs to think things through, if Knuckle turns useless thanks to an iron lord artifact.. Welp, I can only hope and see :(

Edited by EasyCompany506th: 9/7/2016 4:39:09 AMOnly problem with hand cannons is the bloom. Otherwise the are very good. Hawkmoon can 2 shot which feels ridiculously awesome. And the first curse class of hand cannons needs to be a guaranteed 3 shot kill with consistent 2 shot kills on low armor guardians.

8 RepliesI am pretty sure there is no such thing as bloom effect on hand cannons. It's a combination of low gun stability and high fire rate that makes one to miss shots. Try a gun with high stability and you won't miss a single one. Unless your aim is off, or you are shooting at a red bar moron. It's always been like that. What you call "Bloom effect" was introduced for shotties and fusion rifles shooting particles/pellets: the further they go, the more they spread. Hand cannons shoot one bullet at a time, so there should no be anything like Bloom effect for a single pistol bullet. It's just retarded. It does not make any sense. It would be nice if Bungle explained shot mechanics for different classes of weapons here, or in the next newsletter so players would stop guessing and making unreasonable demands.

They should remove it from Hand Cannons and Fusions.

bloom sucks
