What subclass is Cayde?
Most of the characters in Destiny use a singular subclass of the Light, so I was wondering what y'all think Cayde's is. I personally would guess Bladedancer, since most Grimoire cards with him in action have him using a knife at some point, and with the way the grimoire is structured that could be a hint. Or I could be reaching. Who knows

Cayde was a Nightstalkers before it was cool... All of you other hunters just copied him.

It is implied he is a Gunslinger but it is not explicitly stated anywhere that I know of.

Since he plays with his knife and is voiced my Nathan fillion, aka Malcolm Reynolds, so anything short of gunslinger would be just wrong...

1 ReplyHe's a Bladedancer, very probably. In the mission "Cayde's Stash" when you pass the Devils' Lair, Cayde complaints about a door open, saying that "the flux granedes did not explode". Also, he was the one who invented the invisibility for that subclass, very likely because he wanted to use it.

I dunno. I gues you could vouch for all three. But there's this slight variation of the A Ranger Found mission where Cayde says, "I was there when he (Tevis) first picked up that bow." I don't know if that's relevant.
