Mines Thunderlord.
Edit: this is not a post saying OMG WHAT'S THE MOST OP WEAPON, it's saying what's your favorite? As in lore, backstory, design, etc.

The Shaperone

Lird of Wolves and Telesto.

Monte Carlo
-
Vex Mythocast.....it used to melt....now it's a door stop....

Patience and time. My first exotic. My favorite exotic. A truly dedicated marksman's weapon.
-
Pocket infinity, thunderlord
-
MIDA one love and Telesto
-
Thorn has the coolest lore
-
no time to explain and ace of spades

Bad Juju! By far my most used weapon. I don't know what I'm going to do when/if she goes away in Destiny 2. I'll be lost. For real though, this weapon must have been made for me. Always enjoyed burst weapons in any game I played (rocked the M-16 in CoD 4 and was a BR scrub in Halo 3). I also enjoyed throwing confetti as it was fabulous. So, naturally, my Warlock found it and thus, a forever love happened.

Pocket infinity
-
Any and all exotic handcannon.
-
Ice Breaker. Received from a legendary engram from the original loot cave in week 2. Stopped me buying gally... "why would I want a rocket launcher when I have Ice Breaker with infinite ammo...?"
-
thorn feels amazing
-
Icebreaker I loved the sound.
-
Mida is my favorite, it is very functional and can be used in most setting. Which explains the Multi-Tool part.

Don't know about my favorite (too hard to pick since it's situational), but there's a special place in my heart for the Red Death. It was my first and it came really early on when I dropped a grenade by a vandal on the moon and my first purple engram popped out. Ol' Rahool decrypted it into the Red Death. I almost sharded it cause I didn't much like pulse rifles. I was a fan of hand canons back then. When hard mode Crota came along I was glad I didn't.

Edited by Rohirin: 8/2/2016 2:30:25 PMFor every day use I say Zhalo Supercell. The only Y2 primary that has elemental damage, higher r.o.f. as well as good stability. In the first weeks of the changes to strikes, we melted bosses like butta! In PvP, it always does great work against any threat. For PvP, I go between the Invective and the Universal Remote. The Invective is great when you're doing the special kill parts of the bounties and you just can't get a special ammo crate to save your life. The UR....it's a swiss army knife to me. If I want to take care of shoulder rushing/juggshotting titans, blam, done. If I want to derp around the crucible, done. If a warlock self rez, done...and stay down. I managed to catch a Titan mid smash (Lucky as all get out and I don't expect to do that again.) which earned me some hate mail later. If someone is being a jerk, done. You would not believe how much it pisses off jerks when you UR them. "Yeah I was using the Vex -blam!-yourbuttclast, but you went TOO FAR USING THAT UR MAN!!!" Edit- Sometimes I'll titan troll people on capture with the dark drinker and my defender titan. -Get heavy. -Pop bubble. -Sit down on point. -Wait for the newbs to arrive. -MWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

touch of malice as far as design, my favorite to use is thorn for year 1 and tlaloc for year 2.
-
For me it's probably the Sleeper. A heavy sniper fusion rifle that melts bosses. Just awesome. A close 2nd would be Telesto. Such a versatile weapon with great perks and crowd control.
