How to get radiant shards
I recently got the husk of the pit and I upgraded it to eidolon ally and got the Crux but I cannot put it in until I upgrade the last two power up perks but I have no radiant energy. I went to the speaker and even though I have 43 radiant energy it isn't giving me an option to convert it into ascendant shards. Is there somewhere I can farm it or should I give up on it?
EDIT: I'm sorry for any confusion. I got the name of ascendant energy mixed up while typing my question.

2 RepliesThis is probably a dumb question, but if I did hard crota can I still get the previously mentioned chest and still get rewards form crota on easy?

CE is your only source. Run it as far as you can with every character and collect all chests...dismantle any raid weapons (CE) you don't want to keep.

First chest on Crota. If you're going solo, glitch into the VoG and get the first chest there.

2 RepliesEdited by usafsatwide: 7/28/2016 2:05:43 PMCrota's End (you should easily complete solo on Normal Mode) BTW, The Eidolon Ally requires Ascendant Energy not Radiant Shards. You get Ascendant Energy from the Vault of Glass Raid.
