Remove Gjallahorn from pre order....
Bungie trying to make this game pay to win. Remember when people got gally the happiness and -blam!-ing screaming. Now its pay to get it. Bungie needs to remove it so people can EARN it.

It's a quest line so everyone will get a Gally. You just get a skin if you pre order so it doesn't matter. Plus, that Gally will be nerfed to fuq and back so it double doesn't matter. Only Kinderguardians and Taken Tots who missed Gally in Y1 but heard about it will think it's a big deal. Hell, it will probably get nerfed again in Y3 anyway.

Do you actually know what your talking about? Everyone gets the Gjallarhorn whether or not they pre-order. Its a quest to get it. Everyone that gets RoI gets gjallarhorn. You need to complete a questline probably much like ToM quest. So everyone does earn it. Pre-order gets you a weapon skin and a sparrow . I wouldn't call a weapon skin pay to win. its an entirely cosmetic in game item. Weapon skins and sparrows have ZERO impact on gameplay, I would deduce that you are a tool.

RNG in this game is so broken and only rewards those who literally put in minimum effort and screws over those that bust their butts for it. Give me a HARD Quest do do before I want to rely on the EARN IT RNG train. Screw that. I'm not sure what you consider earn it, but RNG isn't earning anything. Its pure dumb luck. Case in point I used to roll with a guy who literally RNG/Earned 3X Galleys in 3 weeks of owning the game. We Raided a lot together and the only difference between him and I was "I" had way more game time in than him. No thank you.

9 RepliesAs others have said, you only get it through quest line, pre-order or not. That only gives you a black paint job. The other thing I point out is there will be screaming once people get one, only it won't be joy. I severely doubt you'll see it used outside the first week. Every rocket launcher in the game currently is crap. That's by design, and the Gjallarhorn will be no different. The paradigm is set in stone.

For starters you don't have to pre-order Rise of Iron to get the gjallahorn. The gjallahorn is available to everyone through a quest line. Those who pre-order, get the black gjallahorn and the white one. People who are pissing and moaning need to use their brains and look into the information that's been clearly given for Rise of Iron. Again, bungie is not just giving it to anyone. They made a quest line for [b][i][u]EVERYONE.[/u][/i][/b]

Pre-ordering it only allows you to chose between the regular Gjallarhorn and the Iron version upon quest completion.
