Vex mythocalist or whatever?
How do I find it I waisted 40 three of coins last week? This week I have 45.

9 RepliesOKAY! So, in the vault if glass, there's a secret boss. You need to be on the hard mode, and you need two people to sit in the relic rooms after killing atheon on the second run. I'd you don't get a Mars then Venus, or a Venus the Mars, it's a wipe. If you hit the same one twice, just die because you NEED those people in the room. After you've killed atheon, in those rooms, a special kind of gorgon will spawn, and they can only be seen by the players who's screens are black. They're weak as hell, but that'll transport you to the top of the giant crystals in atheon boss fight room, aptly named the vault of glass. There's a ghost up there. It's hidden, but VERY crucial to the story. Trust me, it unlocks SO many secrets and pits falls, but I won't spoil it for you. You have 5 minutes to wait. Pop as many three of coins as you can, and make sure you have Gjallarhorn. It's the only gun in the game that can hurt Xylar. That brings us to the boss fight. Xylar, the forgotten. Take a hydra, add on three tails with heads on them and Templar like shield around the body which is the size of Oryx and the heads are as big as atheon himself. This fight is complicated. The eyes on each of the heads will light up. EVERYBODY IN YOUR RAID TEAM NEEDS TO SHOOT THAT ONE HEAD WITH GJALLARHORN. Rinse and repeat until he's about half way dead. This is where things get complicated. It'll start to swing it's heads at you, and you have to jump as high as you can, and fire a rocket at the same time. You'll only have enough time to jump again before you die by its heads. Bubbles won't work. When he hits about 5% of his health, he'll just rocket forward and back, and the shield will go down. A lot of people made the mistake of shooting at the body. DON'T DO THAT. Take out [b][i][u]the left head first, then the right, then the middle, then the body [/u][/i][/b]. You new players are lucky. We used to have to just HOPE this would drop for us, but with the introduction of 3oC, it helps out. Good luck, guardian!

No amount of three of coins will help you. You can only obtain the Vex Mythoclast by defeating Atheon on hard mode. Good luck!

3 RepliesHard Mode Atheon kill has a chance to drop the Vex. As others have pointed out, it is not guaranteed. Unsure if 3 of coins work on it. It may increase your chance of random year 1 exotic but unsure if the Vex is part of that increased chance.

I'm gonna be serious here and not state something outrageous, as it does seem you legitimately don't know from what I've seen, according to your Grimoire. The Vex Mythoclast is a raid Exotic, to get it, you must kill the final boss of the Vault of Glass raid: Atheon, on Hard Mode. It's not guaranteed to drop though, it's purely RNG, it may take one attempt or many attempts to get one. But beating Hard Mode is the [i]only[/i] to get it to drop. However, the weapon is stuck stuck at Year 1 attack levels, so it's weaker than all current level gear. But it's still a fun gun to use (so I've heard, I still don't have one, once again it's RNG), and a good collectors item.

Hard Vault of Glass. Has a chance of dropping after liking Atheon.

3 RepliesYou have to 360 melee kill Atheon on hard ,it's the only way to get it to drop ...it has to be a 360 melee a regular melee won't work
