Quick clarification on Iron Gjalla
I know they said to get the normal one its a long and probably tedious quest like ToM was, AND YOU HAVE TO PRE ORDER THE DLC but did they say how we get the Iron one? I cant remember if its a smaller quest or we just receive it as the DLC comes out, does anyone know the for sure answer? Honestly a quest would be better then it just dropping into our lap, even a quest like the Velumbra sparrow

If you pre order, you can get the iron gjallarhorn through a quest. If you DON'T preorder, you can get the normal gjallarhorn through a quest.

2 RepliesNO pre-order = When available, complete the quest to get the regular version. PRE-ORDER = Early access to the quest and after completing the quest you will get the Iron Ghally version instead of the regular. That's my understanding.

2 RepliesIf you preorder, you get early access to the quest and you get the iron version upon completion of the quest. I believe thats how it works.

2 RepliesIf you preorder you get the iron gally without having to do the quest. It will be sitting in your postmaster, already leveled up. It's also a legendary. If you didn't pre-order, you get a time-gated exotic quest. [spoiler]no one knows the answer to your question, details haven't been released yet to the best of my knowledge[/spoiler]

Everyone gets a Ghorn, with the same quest. If you pre-order you get the Iron Ghorn with the exact same quest. People who pre-order may be able to get the regular and iron Ghorns, but it's unclear.

10 RepliesIf you pre order you get pre order version given to you when dlc drops. But you will still need to do the quest to get the original.

You will get the gjallahorn regardless of preorder. You do get the iron gjallahorn, however, from preordering.

1 ReplyIt's going to be time locked just like sleeper, ntte, etc... But if you preorder you get to start the quest line as soon as the dlc releases, and it's black.

Everyone gets the regular one via a quest. People who pre-order also get a black one. Via the same type of quest. Simple concept to understand, really...

5 RepliesGood Grief People. Just order it the day before its released. How many of us here are going to wait until after its released anyways? Bungie has had a habit of allowing pre-releases up to the date its released. So all this Excitement of which is all kinda moot unless you plan on purchasing your copy 8-20-2016 or later. Sure there will be some people who say. "I'm going to hold out and read the reviews." Why if you've bought all of the other DLC's I can't imagine your not vested enough to put up more cash anyways. Lol

Both require the ingame quest, but those who preorder i think will get iron version at the end instead of normal.

9 RepliesPreordering gets you access to the quest on day of release for dlc, and the reward will be the black version. That's how I understand it. No idea whether that has any implications for those that don't preorder.

If you pre-order you receive the black one instead of the normal one, but you still have to wait to access the same quest as everyone else.

If you pre order you get the skin for iron gally but u still need to do the quest to get it but people tgat dont preorder will only be and to get normal gally not the black version thats all every single person will still need to do the quest to get gally no one will juat get given to them

All you get for pre-ordering is the Iron weapon skin option. You can go classic or new wave..... the weapon is no different just the suit you dress it up in.

5 RepliesYou get the iron gjallahorn if you pre order rise of iron so here's how it goes, when you play that quest to get gjallahorn if you pre ordered rise of iron you get the iron gjallahorn if you didn't pre order rise of iron then you will get the normal gjallahorn.
