New Matchmaking Settings
New Matchmaking settings are live in Control. You can read the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/44932/]details about what is changing here[/url].

I don't have the best internet, but this recent update fixed matchmaking for me. I don't know what wrong with other people, but I've had full matches of greenbars consistently and my internet isn't great. Before the update, however, I had awful lag, so definitely a step in the right direction. Thanks Bungie, always nice when you help fix problems :)

Just disable all crucible, all problems with this cancer are solved

2 Repliesi havent played this garbage for 3 weeks, today i played more than 20 different matches, salvage, control, skirmish, rift, clash this fvking game is a disaster, WTF!? lag is fvking everywhere, red bars, green bars, whatever, 1 of 3 shots are registered in best case scenario, teleporting players everywhere, matchmaking system give dogs on my team, WTF!? FY, i do not buy another DLC shit

I've had a few games of control noticed a much better connection. Then again it couldn't get worse. I want to be positive because I do love this game but I hope you listen to the people who play this game daily. The year 1 matchmaking while not perfect was a far better experience. Can't we return to that? I don't have the skills to understand the difficulties of making a game but I can tell you this matchmaking is aids

2 RepliesThis "new" matchmaking settings are more laggy than before. By just playing a few games in Control, I had many games were the opponents was red bar and lagged all over the place :( I think the rest of the playlists are okey keep it there!

1 ReplyDedicated servers. . . That's all that's needed instead of trying to constantly stabilise and fail with this mess we have for pvp. I can't honestly believe people are paid to try and fix something that obviously seems un fixable. Year 2 and it's now worse in general than when the game came out. .. it is without doubt the most unstable of all the major pvp games/modes available at present by a long shot

First game: Joining a washed out game already in progress and Shaxx is shouting at me DEFEND THE ZONES! Oh well, this sucks, lets just focus on my bounties. Second game: Again joining a game already in progress, people lagging all over. F*ck again? This sucks... Third game: Crappy matchmaking decides to come up with a 4v6 with a 4 men fireteam on the 6 men team. Within no time we are 1000's of points behind. WTF IS THIS SHIT?!? Was also getting loads of phantom assists. After that I was done with this broken BS, think I will go try strikes. Time to kick the idiot in charge of matchmaking and hire someone who knows what they are doing Bungie, all the changes you have been making in the past months have managed to make things worse!

I'm about 1.2+ kd and I've been doing pretty well in crucible in Control, but connections have still been crappy for me...yellow and red bars every match...if I'm going to spend time playing with yellow and red bars I'm at least going to play a game mode I enjoy more than Control...good try Bungie Speaking of year one, I don't remember lag issues, I just remember everyone whining about Thorn #nextsolution #revertTOy1matchmakingplease #PLEASELISTENtoUSforONCE

Not terribly impressed. I had 2 matches in a row where it matched us 5v6. Maybe I just don't pvp enough, but I don't see much of a difference.

The connections are somewhat decent but i have been joining games in progress more often. Also is it just me or it is more sweatier in the crucible.

5 RepliesI've hated the mm in year 2 ever since you rejects forced SBMM into the game. Now I've seen a lot of posts from people saying SBMM sucks and that year 1 mm was the best. So the logical thing to do would be to stop trying to force SBMM into this game & remove it because it is just pure shit, then revert the mm settings back to year 1.

Had a good run the other day - 14 games won of control a couple of defeats then 7 won. Boosted my KD from 1.18 to 1.28 the last couple of days have been terrible though struggled to win a game and struggling to go positive - it's just so inconsistent

7 RepliesBungie please tell me how a person with a level 20 / light level 8 can one shot me from across the map yet when I catch his ass it takes me half of my ammo emptied into his head to kill him and I have a light level 334 character. Red bar, yellow bar, shots through walls.....this game is broken. I play to have fun and to relax, but not so much anymore.
