Now.... why are dregs immune to being taken? Does oryx not like dregs.
Now there are taken , thrall, wizards, knights, ogres, goblins, hobgoblins, Minotaurs, vandals, captains, and servitors....but no dregs?

I can see it now! *shoots out a teleporting homing captain blinding ball that knocks you back when it hits you and releases retaliation darts upon hitting you while making any other taken near it immune and it generates invincible shields on whatever other taken enemy you ADS onto while leaving a huge flaming field where it lands after summoning huge amounts of shadow thralls that can shoot taken servitor blasts at the speed of taken ogre's eye beam.* and did I mention the whole thing is invisible?

I think it's because they are pretty low on the strength scale. A Dreg is a Vandal who's been demoted so there would be no point. Same thing with Cabal Legionaries vs Phalanxes. Legionaries are just Phalanxes without a shield. Why get the IPhone 5 when you can get the IPhone 6?

24 RepliesI think it is because dregs are the same as vandals, they have just been demoted within the fallen ranks and have lost their arms as punishment. Similar in the fact there's no taken cursed thrall. I suppose from oryx's point of view he wouldn't want to take something that isnt whole... I dunno. There are also no taken harpies, (however there is speculation gorgons could be) cyclops, servitor and shanks, probably because these are non organic and dont have a will to taken. I dont know why there isn't a taken colossus, some say there will is to strong but there is no basis to put that on. But i suppose primus Ta'aun could count.

1 ReplyWell, when something is taken, it's imperfections go away. In this case, it would be their lack of four arms. So when a drag is taken, it turns into a vandal.
