I must admit I found this thread to be quite entertaining. Also I was shocked how many people seemed to be so hurt that someone took the time to voice their opinion about being lied to by Bungie... again. Ok I'm not shocked that was a lie. I expect the majority of people I come across to be small minded idiots who would say someone feels "entitled" just because they voice their concern that they were promised something by a company and when they showed up for the said service not only was it not there but there was absolutely no explanation as to why it was not there...and before someone makes the comment yes I'm aware that I am writing in long runon sentences but i neither care nor is it relevant, but I digress the point is this. Bungie posted on their app that Iron banner would be available on a certain date at a certain time and it wasn't. This person (who clearly has done some form of customer service) posted on their forum his concerns about the issue and a possible "fix"...whether or not his suggested fix is the best course of action is not relevant to my point either... All I want to point out is this. In his statement he said his "fix" would be necessary to prevent chaos and in response to his statement hundreds of people took time out of their lives to read what he had to say, dozens of people even gave up the time and focus it took to comment, complain, argue amoungst themselves, praise each other, and so forth. So much so that I was entertained for over an hour. Now maybe it's only me who sees things this way but it seems a little like chaos to me. Anyway my point is this. I think it is quite sad that the community as a whole has had to resort to reading such sillyness all because bungie didn't have the time to have somebody post an explaination as to why what they scheduled to be here is not here. However, they had time to post notes about an interview they had with a YouTuber who happens to be married to an employee whose job it is to design the things that kill us lol. But judging from the history of bungie's posts we should be seeing something posted later today which should mention their current screw up and how they are planning to fix it. But I am almost certain of one thing later today I will see a comment posted in reply to what I have said here. So I thank you in advance to any and all witty banter that is to follow this post. Hopefully it will be enough to entertain me while I'm waiting to be seen at the psych ward and keep me busy until I finally get my meds. Oh before anyone responds I should probably mention a few facts. 1) I'm a mentally disabled veteran of the world's greatest Navy with PTSD, a dissociative disorder, and Narcissism amoung other things. 2) I have played Destiny almost everyday since I bought it for myself for Christmas at the beginning of December 2016. 3) I have a 335 Titan, Warlock, and Hunter all of which have max subclasses. 4) I absolutely suck at PVP... except for the rare occasion when my meds send me into a hyper focused rage, at which point I own the hell out of my opponets so badly that I can't help but laugh at those who die at my hand. ( Not important but as an example while working towards an exotic sword quest I went on a killing spree twice in a row using the hilt of my sword it was freaking hilarious I laughed hysterically the entire time and they people in my party couldn't help but laugh back because they had both seen and heard how bad I am at PVP) 5) This is probably the most important fact of all...I'm not joking about being mentally disabled nor am I joking about going to the psych ward today. I get a check each month...I'm crazy not slow by the way. And last but not least we come to fact number 6. 6) You just willingly read the writings of a mental patient off his meds and are currently deciding whether or not you want to respond to him. lol 7) Just a bonus fact i thought of... This is my first time posting in the community forums ever...with the exception of my clans page... Yes I made a clan as I said I'm crazy not slow. Besides it was the easiest way to get the last of my Gamerpoints for Destiny, but I digress it may take me awhile to respond to any replies I receive to this rant due to my fore mentioned inexperience, lack of care, and/or the fact that I may get busy at the Dr's office. 8) I tend to be long winded and quite inquisitive. 9) I will be severely disappointed if Bungie doesn't fix their broken game before the 28th because Resident Evil 5 doesn't become available to play until then and I want to help a few clanmates get a few things they need before I switch games. 10) Once RNG finally gives me a Suros Regime I'll have all of the obtainable exotics unlocked.
