Its not about ttk, its about variety, viability, about being able to use any set up you want and do just as well as anyone else. Unfortunately bungie explicitly stated they dont want balance, they want metas that are constantly changing. So youre always going to have to use the meta class with the meta set up to compete.

No, they buffed the damage, all supers excect supports are a OHKO anyways.

They are/were not OHK in PvE. They were not always OHK in PvP. There were other buffs too. You can read the patch notes. Supers got buffed.

Im not saying nerf more, im trying to say bring it to balance. [b][i]NOT[/i][/b] complete homogenization. Think of a chunky drink. The chunks are the best part, but there has to be a thinner part to the drink and it has to be consistent or the drink isn't enjoyable.

Well then if you want such a slow TTK on your primaries, then maybe something should be done about special weapons as they are the only thing being used because of their fast TTK.

This is a good point. They should make secondaries a bit harder to use in PvP. PvE should stay the same or get buffed. Honestly I think it's the map design that encourages secondary use, it's really hard to not use a secondary if you can close a gap real fast and your prey has nowhere to go(or double body them with a sniper for that matter) Then again, secondaries should be stronger than primaries, or else what's the point in having them?

Secondaries should be stronger than primaries, but they shouldn't be so easy to use. The max range of shotguns should be cut in half, with most shotguns not able to hit max impact. Keep rangefinder though. Snipers should have aim assist removed and there needs to be scope flinch when being shot by someone, however the further away that person is, the less flinch there is. Doing these would really cut down the ease of use for these weapons in PvP. Also bungie should put the max ammo for these guns and all guns back to what it used to be. Finally bungie should rebuff shotgun's PvE damage to what it was during HoW.

I agree with you Skulrayge, if everything got buffed it would be a twitch shooter like Call of Duty we don't want or need that at all.

Yes this exactly. I don't play those games because it's all twitch and no strategy. Destiny has always been somewhere in the middle. Watching doom gameplay almost made me vomit.
