Post Update Edit: It appears that it is still a 2 shot, each dealing 8,000 damage a shot. I'm personally very happy to see that this is the case. Feel free to keep up the discussions everyone. Just make sure to keep it civil. I'm also going to leave the post incase any new onlookers wonder what it was about.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with the buffs, they were well needed, but I feel like this will make defender less viable in PvP. As is, it takes 2 shots with golden gun to pop a bubble. With the 50% (80%) increase in damage, it could quite possibly make it a 1 hit. It will also almost guarenteed 1 shot someone inside who is affected by Armor of Light. I feel like a slight increase in durability, maybe 20% - 30%, would be beneficial. Thoughts?
Edit: To clarify, the only thing I think needs a buff is the durability, and that's if and only if Ward of Dawn is too easily destroyed because of the update tomorrow. However, other suggestions and discussions are completely welcome. And please, try to be friendly and respectful towards eachover.
400 replies edit: Great discussions so far everyone. My apologies for not being able to reply to everyone, I've been taking a final exam. I don't have one for the next two days so I will be able to discuss with as many people as I can.

1 ReplyEdited by ateam2k10: 6/17/2016 2:19:26 PMTrue story Stormcaller Super cannot kill defender inside the bubble...I tried this morning and got killed. Edit: I went inside the bubble...maybe that's why.

Nope because if you see a slam coming at you just back out of the bubble and you will take no damage. Plus if u know what u are doing and players are stupid and greedy then you can make amazing plays with the bubble.

2 RepliesCan Razors Edge still go through Titan bubbles?
-
2 RepliesI haven't played pvp yet, but if I can ohk a bubble with my gg, then yes it needs a buff.
-
Nah, let them come

1 ReplyI think there should be a perk in the defender skill tree that absorbs supers.. Giving everyone inside a moments boost to weapon damage... That way, its a little more of a gamble using your super to destroy a super... Will it be destroyed?? Or will it backfire...
-
10 RepliesI've always thought that when a super is used to get rid of the bubble that both should disappear along with the effects, and it should take the entire super away. For example if a Foh hits the bubble the effect of the Foh should be nullified as well as the bubble being destroyed. Or if a nova bomb hits it the aoe effect should not happen but it destroys the bubble.

Agreed

10 RepliesI hope it still takes 2 shots of Golden Gun. Anyone can confirm?
-
Lol, yea right, then all the hunters will throw a hissy fit crying that it's op
-
9 RepliesNova bomb one shot my bubble and me inside it just from hitting the outside.

11 RepliesMy question to bungie is why let other superdestroy it?. It clearly says
indestructible
bubble.

6 RepliesI thimk they should make some sort of a damage over time for enemies that enter it. Because its just stupid that an enemy can inhabitate my bubble
-
3 RepliesOther supers just shouldn't destroy it, and it should stay around after the titan dies just like the void tethers do for huntards.
-
23 RepliesHow about instead of all that; If an enemy enters the bubble they are suppressed like a tether, no grenade, no super, no melee ability. No more fist of havocs, no more enemy bubbles, no more hammers, no more storm trance, no more nova bomb, no more radiance, no more blade dancers, no more tethers, no more golden guns inside the Titan bubble. This would make the bubble more user friendly and more fun to use inside crucible. The bubble is supposed to be indestructible, which it obviously isn't, so let's make it a little more offensive.
-
I would like it if you could push the bubble like the ball in the tower, imagine having ward of dawn on and bouncing it into enemies lol you could build a whole new strategy on that alone. 6 defenders in pvp bouncing blinding bubbles all over the map lmao, so much joy to be had.
-
of course they should buff the titans bubble if they buffed others super's damage but you think they thought of that right?
-
Hell yeah!

4 RepliesMake it stronger, paint it a new color, make it square Idc Just let my arc blade go under it again

1 ReplyThe buffs to supers are supposed to be against AI opponents (pve). Did bungie screw that up too?

The bubble is great. It supports teams efficiently. WoL is very useful in pve and it's amazing in pvp. Armor of light is an excellent life saver in pve and with Helm of Saint-14, or just a shotgun period, you're unstoppable in pvp. Now blessings is a whole different story... It's so useless and underpowered. I believe that defenders are an amazing class that is underrated but blessings is just bad... If they buffed the damage resistance on blessing or maybe made it last longer, defender Titans would be complete... Btw I main a voidwalker warlock so I'm not trying to bash Titans or anything. Once again, I myself believe they need a buff...

6 RepliesMy only problem is them nerfing Twilight Garrison.
-
My dude... Defender is boss. The super itself it's an iglu, but if you bring em' to your house, you can get some dope killstreaks. Trust me, a buff would make people mad at defender titans, consequently, Bungie's way to deal with things, it would lead to a nerf. The defender subclass is extremely good, but people just don't know how it works.

Haven't tried it out yet. But they did nerf the key hole perk for gunslinger already. You used to be able to take out the bubble and the titan on the second shot and or anyone else standing behind him. Now it takes all 3 shots. Plenty of times I took out a titan bubble, plus the titan and one or two of his allies with just two shots using key hole (over penetrate) and combustion (targets explode) perks. But I'm currious to jump into crucible tonight to see if there's any difference.
