A letter to snipers, thank you
After countless games of getting my head blown off around Every. Single. Corner. From across the map to as close as 10 feet away, I was getting wrecked by you sorty bastards and I saw no end in sight.
But instead of comming to these forums and complain, I went to my vault and leveled up every weapon I had. I start experimenting with different loadouts.
Afterwards I started to learn about my surroundings and being aware. You need that special ammo crate more than I do, so I memorized the timer and camp it so you wont get it.
You hardscoping that corner? Thats cool, I titan skate [u]everywhere[/u]. So by the time you take those extra two seconds to re-aquire your aim it takes 1 second to throw a flashbang and dome with this Saterianne rapier with high caliber rounds.
I learned to play smart thanks to you bastards and I thank you for that. Go look at my last 5 games on my titan. I went 40 kills with a 8.0 kd on frontier. 25 kills on bannerfall with a 3.0 kd
Yup, I got gud now. You wont hear no salt post from about snipers no matter how bullshit they are. Here some advice for ppl that struggle with snipers.
High caliber rounds are your friends.
Dont stay out in open areas too long
Use a emote to look around corners
Only engage when your weapon in its effective range ( to increase flinch)
And last don't complain to bungie because its obvious at this point that like warlocks, snipers will never get nerfed because thats how they want it to be. Cant really change that. You're gonna have to adapt.

Edit : I thought alot of people knew that you can use a emote to look around corners...I got that from TrueVangaurd
Edit: to the people that cant do math. You divide the number of kills with the number of deaths. 25÷8 = 3.125 I rounded down. I hate these forums, you all dismissed my entire post because of this. Goodness people

1 ReplyLol I've done it in PvE to look around corners or to fool around, but I've never once clued in to use it in pvp. Probably from to much cod gaming imo.

Juggernaut + Shotgun + Twlight Garrison + Headstrong. Shadestep. Axion Bolts. Also Firebolts, but if you use Tyson Combo, you are scum. Never use something that is stupidly broken that has no counter. #TitanMasterRace

3 Replies6000 kills with sniper but 28000 with shotgun wow dude shotguns are worse than snipers to get killed by but with shotguns I just kill them by jumping and 2 shots then melee

I used to snipe a whole lot every game and it got stale for me I recently picked up a shotgun with my night stalker and it's a blast, half of the time snipers are zoomed in and don't notice you coming, also it's way more involved

1 ReplyThats a good start, but now you have to figure out how to outmaneuver your opponents with other classes as well (no Titan skates for the warlocks, just blinks or good ol' fashioned floofing) to really make it hurt. Also, add Autorifles built for high range and stability to the list of weapons, they are vary hard to counter with snipers. My Zarinea-D and Haakons Hatchet has caused more than a few headaches in the Crucible by putting accurate fire with reasonably high damage at medium-long range.

I've been a jerk lately. Start with prudence and dump the mag on one unlucky soul, then swap to ice breaker. Since the change to 6x zoom, ice breaker is the best (feeling) sniper imo.

2 RepliesIt's easy enough to counter you camping the special. I just run with a sniper ammo perk on both my chest piece and my legs, starts me off with 12 ammo instead of the usual 6.

7 RepliesAs you can see here this intuitive and creative Titan has taken a smart approach to adapting to the well known "Sniper". Instead of throwing salt everywhere like the annoying "Nerfhearder" this unique creature has decided to use his resources to his advantage. And look at him go! Look there! He was able to take out the worst of all Snipers, nicknamed the 1k b*tch. Bravo little Titan, bravo!

2 RepliesJump, aim in middair and abuse auto aim for a sniper headshot ;) Thats amazing... can you do that as well? The person who designed snipers should be tortured, poisoned, hanged and only then left to die at the gates of hell and condemned to burn in endless pain for all the eternity.
