As with any game you're initial K/D tends to haunt you later as you get better, but besides that I try new things. I play different classes. I try different builds. I try different styles of play. That keeps things fun for me. My experiments don't always work out and my K/D suffers for it. In the end I'm striving for that "positives" value but if I never reach it? -blam!- it!

My kd is meh a hunter since day one breh
-
Same. I'm working towards a 1.8 but I screw around with NLB so much, and I try random crap and I try out new guns each time I get one, so my KD is around 1.5 or 1.66 in trials
-
If you were proud of it why do you go on to make excuses why your k/d is low
-
Congrats. Keep working on it.

Similar ... my main character has a 0.74 due to many months of doing daily/weekly Crucible for marks, and mostly standing around afk. It is slowly trending up because I actually try (usually) in IB and I do more of that lately. My other characters have even worse kds, because I only did as much Crucible with them as necessary to get the to level 20, pre-TTK. And ToO bounties a couple times.

11 RepliesMy kd was a .9 and I was happy In this iron banner it sky rocketed to a 1.0 wtf!!!!
-
That last sentence contradicts your title. I think you mean, "My KD is 0.8 and I'm indifferent about it."
-
5 RepliesI think k/d in game is ok, it gives a visual goal to encourage trying to get better. My only problem with k/d is people not wanting to play with others if there k/d isn't high enough for them, but then again why would I want to play with people like that anyway? It's also nice to see improvement for your own benefit.

8 RepliesGot a .007 ratio one match. Couldn't do anything but apologize to my teammates and facepalm myself. Haha.
-
Your previous kd haunts you? Your monthly as of the past three have ranged from .89 to .99. Whoop-dee-doo.
-
Bump you're the best
-
I enjoy using new weapons for fun or playing with my less skilled friends. K/D is just a number so screw it. Your old kd is not a reflection of your current skill
-
As long as your having fun all that matters
-
Be proud, bruh!!!
-
15 RepliesSigned. My KD wildly swings from game to game. I can go 2.5 in one game and then 0.2 in the next. Thing is, I don't take PvP very seriously and I'm usually screwing around more than anything.
-
My ELO is better than my K/D, because I'm willing to sacrifice my K/D to break up the enemy strategy, especially when they are camping hard. I'll flip the spawn and challenge groups for a trade to make them less comfortable.
-
And they matchmake me with people like you all the time and it sucks
-
12 Repliesyour lucky mine is a 0.6

So with you, I do the same

Who cares about KD, I sure as hell don't. I'm up for using all the weapons I earn just to try them out. I'm even on a fusion rifle kick right now and having the time of my life. Having fun out there is all that matters. It's a game. No need to stress
-
On all 3 characters too. At least now we know you're consistent
-
Hear, hear! Haha I just can't be patient enough to sit back, or boring enough to stick with one loadout.
-
2 RepliesI'm ugly and I'm proud!

6 RepliesWhat is this K/D you speak of? Kevin Durant?
