Dear Nighstalker in PvP with their stupid Smoke'n'Grenade Combo...
... you are all just bad.
Srsly. This -blam!-ing combo is so overpowered and noobish as -blam!-.
Someone sees you ''OMG ENEMY INCOMING!'' *panics and hits all grenade buttons*
Then you are just trapped inside this damn smoke and die withing a second because your stuck and the grenade damages you like shit.
*slow clap* You are my champions of PvP. Really.
Nothing pisses me more of than this -blam!-.
Srsly, THIS is something that needs to be nerfed. NOT The Last Word or Ice Breaker.
If i get hit by the Shadowshot, okay thats alright. It is meant to tether me and its a SUPER. But smoke? smoke is just... UGH!
Sry for being so bitchy but i'm just so annoyed by nightstalkers.
I can't be the only one that is so pissed of by this grenade combo.

I think you should try running it yourself. Especially if you shotgun. I mained void walker most of Y1. When TTK launched I mained Storm up until abt 2 months ago. All I do is shotty. I ran Claws on my Storm. 2 months ago I switched over to nightstalker just because I wanted a change. Playing against them made me want to seriously give it a shot. Playing against a good nightstalker makes you feel like it's stupid OP, but that shit takes hella skill to master. Especially if you're playing the close-range game. Running a shotty or a fusion rifle... I felt terrible when I first made the switch. I couldn't play any good players, I'd get dumped on. But after awhile I got used to it. Now, I think nightstalker takes immense skill to master. There are definitely some things on the subclass that are probably too strong, but every subclass has one thing or another. That's just my perspective. I played warlock for a long time, & I played it well. But to me, running a Nightstalker takes far more skill than running any warlock subclass. But that also only pertains to my playstyle, aggressive shotgunning. I guess if you were to sit back & snipe, play passively, then nightstalker wouldn't be too much harder to play. All perspective, I suppose.

I sort of agree, and ive read this and answered one or two times I believe, the main thing though, is shadestep in my opinion. The amount of times ive gone to engage, been at half health then gone "nope im not winning this" and just tapped o,o is rediculous, and just because I could, and because it was easy. No other subclass can just tuck themselves away without changing the direction they are facing in order to disengage themselves from a situation without surrendering vital time for the enemy to pursue the kill. This isnt the case with shadestep. With shapestep you basically just disappear. I know someone will mention twilight. You cant twilight garrison whilst on the ground, to evande you have to be in the air surrendering some time in order to do so. Shadestep is slightly too op in my opinion. Ive hardly used it and already have thought on a massive amount of occasions, and even said to my team mates, "well, this is just stupid". Shadestep into hallway. Enemy has to spend longer lining up their shot as you can still estimate their position mid step. Taking away the time you need to enter the engagement. Shadestep again instantly if you miss your shot. (Sniper specifically). Shadestep shotgun......dont get me started lol. Its just dumb imo. Credit to those who are awesome at it. But dont deny that its incredibly forgiving most of the time.

While this post is not exactly how I would have worded it, the smoke grenade wombo combo is pretty strong. The problem I see is that I don't really know how to go about nerfing smoke. I wouldn't want it to be nerfed [i]too[/i] hard after all.

The Nightstalker is the only balance between the op of Titan an warlock currently ill admit that yea the smoke an grenade is something that needs a look at an I'm a hunter specialist he is my devil child but I'm tired of all the shit that happens 2 me because of a warlock an titan 2 me there 2 overpowered while the hunter is the one that catches all the shit if you ask me its one thing 2 have grenades an gadgets for pvp an possibly a double jump but take away the powers then yes the hunters Nightstalker would be op then but it's not so kinda take it with a grain of salt an try an kill them before they kill you

Thing is it's a smoke AND grenade. Either one on their own aren't all that great. Sorry you've been killed a bunch of times by it tho'. I personally don't run into it all that often. :3

2 RepliesGive us one, [u]ONE[/u] good grenade, so that we don't need to waste both the smoke and grenade to have something half effective and incredibly unreliable to get kills with. Seriously. Try using Nightstalker grenades without the smoke. They're all just so damn awful.

i dont mind dying by it.. its the width and height of the smoke that gets my blood boiling, it shouldn't take like 5 jumps to get out of it and it should not stop a shottie to the chest of the hunter missing.... it's like you turn into a blind oap once the smoke surrounds u
