It really is so much more fun that way. But It's easy to get caught up in the scratch off lottery though. This next engram I scratch off will be the one! Or this pull of the slot machine will line up; 3 - 3 - 5 jackpot! Ohhhh 3-3-4....so close, one more time!

To be fair though some guns or sub classes deserve a nerf so people who are a bit more competitive can have balance. I understand its a game but some people are just MORE competitive than others and would like to see a even playing field no matter who they choose or what they use in game. Destiny just drew in more of a competitive crowd for some odd reason. Me personally? I couldn't give a single -blam!- what happens in PvP, its just that PvE is getting shit on because of PvP that gets me mad. I remember when i could use any weapon and just destroy anything, now i need a certain set of perks on a certain weapon for me to be as effective in ONE situation. I can't just roll up with this sick looking handcannon and do good in anything but medium to short range, i can't shoot as many MG bullets or sniper shots at bosses, i can't have a super with a lot of armor because of some shit in PvP!! I used to have fun in PvE because i could use anything and just feel like a god, destiny just lost that feeling and i think it has to do with all these damn nerfs...

Talk to someone who plays this game but doesn't go on the forums, they [i]love[/i] the game. I haven't advised my friends to go in the forums because it will ruin the experience for them, the forums are a source of entertainment for me to an extent, but there is no much arrogance and ignorance throughout it. You'll find some cool people on the forums no doubt, but there are just too many negative players here. Mini rant thing over I guess. Fin.

Remember doing hard mode raid for the first time. me and this other guy both -blam!-ed up our places on oryx once and the other guy started angrily screaming like I twisted his nuts, meanwhile he also -blam!-ed up. Chill out. I understand some of you teens are little shits but don't take the game so serious and get off your period.

It left when Bungie thought trials was a good idea. It was not and began a massive circle-jerk that lead to everybody promoting elitism and nerf this and that crap. Also snipers, sniper everywhere.

4 RepliesI haven't had fun in the crucible for a while. It's not because of balance, but rather how much of a sweat fest every match turns out to be. It's like playing trials all the time. I like the casual, laid back parts of destiny, not this tryhard crap.

Well their are people like me who play and enjoy the game But wish for issues within the game to be addressed, many times scaling down many weapons was a bad idea, few were good. Destiny in the beginning was rather more balanced to me, when you get outplayed by an exotic it just made sense in most cases the exotics where better and they are somewhat suppose to be. I worshipped the Vex Mythoclast, it had every right to be op. In a game such as Destiny where there are stats on weapon expect a gun to be stronger then the other period. You want balance? Go play Halo custom games and set it to where everyone has Assault rifles and no guns spawn on the map and invite some friends.

Something to consider is that different people have different definitions of fun. My own personal interpretation of "fun" is gameplay that is as balanced as possible. Of course, I also might have a different definition of what is balanced compared to other people. Tier 1

I play trials cause I find it intense and fun. I dont [u]need[/u] to go the lighthouse every week though

2 RepliesBecause you can't have fun like this. Right now, you can't just use any weapon and do whatever. If you aren't using the OP weapons, you are going to lose 90% of your gunfights. For a passive player, it's not fun at all using the same weapon over and over. In the current meta, if you aren't using a sniper, you're not going to do well. Posting about what needs fixed is not about not having fun, it's about trying to have fun.

2 RepliesI'm glad the majority of players are not what I see on forums! I believe it's the loudest group and in general an unhappy lot! After reading post I get the sense that there are people that are personally hurt by the game and relish its failure , how crazy for a form of entertainment, if you're not having fun don't play and let those of us that enjoy the game, enjoy it. My play does not effect your personal life ! My choice of sub class and load out is not some personal attack.
