1 ReplyWell some people are already mad when they start to play because they use it as a stress reliever. My sister was playing BO3 the other day. She was doing good the first game but then lost terribly the next. She threw her phone down the stairs in rage and the screen shattered. I was playing ESO and couldn't beat this boss for my life! At first I was pissed but I didn't show it. But after a half hour I started punching random shit in my way. I believe that there is a difference between being angry about a game and Raging. Raging is when your anger carries on to real life.

2 RepliesEdited by Tobito_TheGod: 5/12/2016 8:11:13 PMGears 2 annex playing with a friend and people we invited. I had 12 kills 28 downs and rising with 7 caps. My downs kept rising as my teammates constantly kept taking them and i ended up breaking and threw my controller at the wall. Friend was there as we splitscreened and was like "guys you should stop taking his downs, he kinda broke one of his controllers". I was a salty little shit back then, I've chilled out a lot Nowadays i just laugh if i make a mistake or something starts to get to me.

When I'm concentrating really hard, I unconciously twist my controller. On Xbox, only results in a nasty creaking noise. A few playstation controllers were not so lucky :(

Edited by Aldedge: 5/13/2016 11:58:01 PMNah. Every time I get frustrated or angry at a game to the point of hitting/throwing something I either take a break and watch tv or YouTube or something or play a different game. 9 times out of 10 I do better once I've cooled off.

Every time iron banner is on.
-
1 ReplyNope, when I start feeling frustrated I shut off my console or pc and go do something else. Its just a game, no need to take it so serious, especially Destiny
-
I have punched and kicked a hole in the wall before lmao. Not at the same time or over the same game though
-
2 RepliesNo but for some reason I dropped my little brothers remote in a bowl of cereal, the milk killed it, always somehow milk kills everything in life I spilled cereal on my laptops keyboard and now it won't work. Lesson of the day, don't trust cows.
-
Ive punched stuff never broke anything.
-
Nope. I get frustrated but I don't feel like breaking my own property or punching anything. I just swear at my monitor/TV. It takes a lot to annoy me though, i'm a pretty happy guy.

8 RepliesI have a question for those that answered no, but first it would appear that the ones that said no, that means (during gameplay) if someone breaks your killstreak, ruins a flawless run, etc... you don't get frustrated, mad, pissed or do really well at something, that means you don't get excited, happy or thrilled either! Or scared?? RE, Silent Hill & others. My point is you have no emotions while playing! (Like watching Spock or Data play games) So my question is WHY THE FUK DO YOU PLAY AT ALL??? Pick another activity! I play cause i enjoy it & on days i have a bad day at work, i fire-up my PS4 and slap on BO3/Destiny & pretend to shoot my bosses face off!! Lol point is gaming is fun & i haven't broken a controller since the PS1 era. So if you have no emotions while playing, stop wasting money on games & just stare at the wall!!
-
Yea. When I played destiny I raged a t the pvp and threw my controller at a wall
-
Nope I just pop a finger up the bum

I threw a controller at the wall after dying AGAIN in GTA Vice City on a mission I tried 100 times. I was 13. I punched my bedroom window out after getting sooooo close to beating Perfect Cell in DBZ Budokai. I had fought him like 50 times already. I was 12.
-
Haven't broken a controller since 2014 lol. Was playing AW MP.
-
No because im not a fųcking retard. Game keeps fųcking me up and cant pass a boss/level. I think I'll just punch a hole in the whole or break my controller or headset. How are u still alive with that logic?

Edited by Vegan Superhero: 5/13/2016 3:28:45 AMSome dude in bo2 was drop shoting with the scorpion so in response i threw my headset on the ground and it pretty much exploded. Good thing it was cheap

I slammed my Xbox 360 controller trying to get the mongoose mowdown achievement in Halo 3 lol
-
Once. I was playing Dark Souls when it first launched, and I was about to land the finishing blow on the Hellkite dragon. Unfortunately, my internet went out at the moment, and kicked me back to the menu since I was on online mode. Broke my favorite controller.
-
I just scream under my breath super quietly, "what the -blam!- is that?!"
-
No, but I do get pretty ticked off.

Edited by Lil Cobravert: 5/13/2016 1:14:06 AMI threw a 360 headset to the ground and split it in two after having terrible rounds in WoT.

Edited by wojo55: 5/12/2016 11:59:04 PMI once was a teenager and oh boy the rage inside me while gaming was intense. I once put a whole in my bedroom wall (got my ass beat for that and rightly so) I also kicked my tv stand in which it collapsed and broke my tv. Parents didn't care about that one they just told me they won't buy me another. Those days are long gone it's been a decade. I'm completely relaxed now
