OK... rant time.. I hate to be the "git gud scrub" type of guy but for God's sake the amount of incompetent people in Kingsfall is astonishing.
LFG is full of light level snobs (both characters I play are 332 when I'm raiding)
But the funny thing is I've dragged sub 300 light first timers through hard raid that performed better than half the 330+ light snobs I find on LFG.
KINGSFALL IS MECHANIC BASED, LIGHT LEVEL MEANS NOTHING IF YOU CAN'T COUNT YOUR DAMMED PLATES OR WATCH A STUPID ASS TIMER
anyways... end rant.

Got that right Today at 41 poe a 331 died 12 times then a 314 died only 2 lol when i saw that i was like wow wow wow
-
Yes thas for sure i have high light level noob friends
-
And this is why you ask for experience. Or at least for someone who can adapt and learn the raid. 5+ times on totems alone is just silly.
-
1 ReplyThe amount of trash players in the raid has gotten ridiculous. I was playing with a group at totems and we couldn't even get past it after around 5 attempts. The players that are 320+ now are the ones who were 309 before the april update. It was easier to do the raid when everyone was under 320 or lower. Now the noobs can blend in with the better players.
-
1 ReplyYou are 100% correct man. I get frustrated all the time because I don't raid and if I wanted to most won't accept me because my light level is lower than theirs even though I'd wreck their face in any game mode. I laugh when I do a heroic or anything a with group and the other players have 330+ light with 60 kills each and I'm at 319 with 120. Or when I see people with full raid gear walking around looking like a child playing the game, all confused.
-
Wow. No sh*t sherlock.
-
Nah really?

4 RepliesIP HAMMER sounds like the douchey kid growing up who'd yank his toys out of your hands while barking "you're not playing pretend right! I'm going home!"

Edited by Chasdena: 5/11/2016 8:19:02 PMThat is, for the most part, quite(American usage of quite not British) true, but to be fair many players have never been able to successfully do the raid (myself included, stupid lack of friends) and therefore have no idea what their doing. Now before you respond with "well they should just look it up then" there are not that many good tutorials on how to do it, also alot of people like the challenge of figuring out what to do, even if it means failing ALOT. If you really want them to do better, then walk them through what needs to be done before they have to do it. Sincerely Yours, -Your Friendly Neighborhood Gamer

Dude, I hit 335 two days after the update, when I first dropped into the tower as a 335, "Eye of the Tiger" proc'd. It's all skill!
Of course, you are correct, but being an original Forever 29 member, it felt good to get there early.
-
I agree. That is all.
-
It was prob there first time doing it why not teach them how it is done

I'm in need of a competent team. My original group has left Destiny and I haven't raided in weeks. I'm too nervous to scout the recruitment forums because I think of all the communication and strategy my team would do, on top of that was the trust we put on each other to get our own jobs done. That's not something you can do with randoms. One Oryx Challenge I tried with randoms was severely sabotaged by some guy claiming to "loose focus". Just say that your stoned beyond reasoning dammit!! So many times he would just stand there. Anyway if anyone needs a extra body on the PS4 then feel free to add me. I need a good and fun group of peeps to play with. PSN: Cascaderanger

12 RepliesHey know what would fix the issue of annoying lfg? Matchmaking in all the modes that require fireteams!
-
14 RepliesI'm just gonna ask for 30+ hard raid completions. And I will check it.
-
Pro tip, don't do raids
-
Git gud SCRUB and no kf for you BACK TO COD
-
3 RepliesI also like these guys who do not revive in Skirmish or Salvage... also very annoying. But I fully agree with you good Sir!
-
4 RepliesSomewhat related question(s). Is the raid worth running anymore? Can you get guaranteed 335 rewards?
-
I feel like all the incompetent, tryhards, and -blam!-bois of Destiny all gather at Trials of Osiris

13 RepliesEdited by The Sword Logic: 5/11/2016 5:49:40 AMGuys. It's just a language barrier thing. Let me translate a few things you'll commonly see on LFG: King's Fall HM: "Must be 335+" = "I suck at the game and I need people who are literally 15 light levels higher than the light level cap was less than four weeks ago if I am going to succeed." King's Fall Daughters (or Oryx): "Must have Spindle and ToM." = "I don't know how equipping exotics works but I've seen other posts and I think they contained these words, in one order or another." King's Fall (any): "If u suck, ur gettin' kicked." = "If anyone causes us to wipe, including (especially) myself, I'm going to blame it on you instead of analyzing my own ineptitude." If you guys see any other posts that need translation, just drop them here and I'll translate them, free of charge.

Your right grimoire does lol
-
Agree - I have three 335 characters, and am solid on the raid, but not a star. I am usually average on good teams.
-
335 light means 335 skill measured in centimeters.
-
Yeah I have to agree. Why people can't sit and watch a YouTube video before jumping into the raid I have no clue, there are good viable tutorials available but nooooo.......it's why I try to avoid lfg at all costs.
