Why is every F.... Kid Running thru the whole strike only to get as fast as possible to the Boss? i want to play a Shooter not a Running Simulator. since many New Players came, especially jung ones, there is no real teamwork anymore. the have full raidgear from carries but hide in almost every strike bossfights in cheese spots,Really? Is this whats Destiny become. I Report Minimum 10 Players a Day for Skipping all encounters in strikes and not helping the others in strikes and let them alone with all the stuff. When you want to FARM STRIKEs then do it with a fireteam but please leave us Puplic Matchmaking Strike Players alone. Because i cant even Play a Strike the way it is intended. I hope Bungie is programming Strikes in the Future the way where you have to kill all Enemies in the Area before you can go to the next section. And to the People who actually play the way its intented and Help you are the Best.

Unless your new to the game you've done these strikes a hundred times. And if you are new to the game it's not your place to tell vets how to play
-
And what might you report this players for?
-
2 RepliesFast run= fast rep= fast package= chance at LDR
-
This is the best way to do strikes.
-
I see nothing wrong with speed running through a strike.

Edited by xcutioner_0: 5/10/2016 3:58:52 PMWhether you want to have fun in the game or not isn't my problem. I play the way I prefer. Reporting players for the way they do thier own shit is ridiculous. It's people like you that make Bungie ignore the report system for abusing it. Like a little kid who kept poking a lion. Well, don't expect me to care when mommy's at your funeral crying cause you got eaten by a pissed off lion.

Edited by Null_Blade: 5/8/2016 4:21:14 PMI was playing the Undying mind lvl 36 heroic strike and the kid was cool very nice. On the boss fight he said we should go to the cheese spot and just shoot the boss. I said "watch me" and turned crowds of enemies into 7 orbs of light here and there. He changed strategies eventually, but I was baffled because the boss only goes back and forth and is pretty easy unless you walk yourself into a corner without noticing and die. I'm just going like that though.
-
Ive often wondered how many reports I've gotten.
-
I usually just let them go. They'll usually die because they try to jump over a mob of enemies or run into an area that requires some teamwork (like that weird jumping area on the Darkblade strike). I never rush to revive them. They have it coming.

8 RepliesWhen I'm on my 2 hour timer, I'm going to complete the strike as fast as possible. You want to stay back and kill enemies then be my guest but don't expect me to go out of my way to ensure YOU have fun in the game.

9 RepliesBecause there no point killing pointless adds you stupid noob. I run forward and wipe to make the stupid noobs spawn at the next check point.

Edited by Ostensibly: 5/8/2016 4:15:03 PMCommander Zavala: "Guardian, we're sending you back to Mars to kill yet another Cabal commander cosplayer. Unfortunately, they have set up the same 'traps' as last time, and have taken the same name. Show them the Vanguard won't be trifled with." Me: "Ghost, how many times have we come back to the Iron Line now?" Ghost: "I stopped counting after 200."

2 RepliesYou're the kid I see at the spawn, then never again till I pull you through to the boss. I'm equally frustrated, because while you're busy shooting vex goblins, or thrawl. I'm killing secondary bosses like the shield brother tank by myself.... It goes both ways bud

Great question, unfortunately with the game heingbout for as long as it has, with very few strikes being added to the game and many even removed, players have played all the strikes hundreds of times, and are now mostly playing them for rewards. What this means is that they want to maximize their number of exotics/legendaries per hour, and they best way to do that is by killing ultras as quickly as possible. So when some one is trying to speed run through a strike, they're just doing what the developers have essentially forced them to do.
-
1 ReplyWhat if how I like to play them is to see how fast I complete it?
-
Because unlike year one we had variety in strikes, not just the same 7
-
I could say the exact same thing in reverse and neither of us would be right. I could sent reports to those who lag behind not doing strike. I could say that if you wanted to do strikes the long way to find a fireteam. Its not correct to say it either way, but the rule of thumb i find is if 2 other fireteam members are running fast, you join em... If they are doing strike slowly, join em.

When I ran strikes back in year one I would always have more than double the kills of the blueberries combined, and that was with everyone "playing the way they were supposed to". So it doesn't matter. Luckily I was just farming weapon and strike grimoire so I didn't really care. 5000 shotgun kills in like 30-40 strikes haha.

Edited by DirtyBlondeMedic: 5/8/2016 2:22:47 PMI want to get the most out of my vanguard rep booster so screw you. Another thing, there is no valid reason to report people. Nothing happens to them, and people like you are messing up the report system and abusing it. Cut it out and save it for real reports.

There really is no way to control what kind of experience you get. Your best bet is for you to team up with a couple of buddies to enjoy the way YOU want to play. Just accept it because you can only control what you do
-
Back in the day I was one of those players you refer to. I ran past enemies and cut corners to get to the end as fast as possible. I even had 2 to 3 times as many kills as the slower people, but I wasn't counting. Nowadays, I'm more of a casual player. I too enjoy the good old times of destroying everything in my path, and helping other party members. It feels good to be able to be there for someone who might need help. To stand above your corpse and fearlessly resurrect you in the midst of heavy fire is a great feeling.
-
I do about 50/50. Kill stuff till it's safe then run- don't kill what you don't need to.
-
New guys? Hell I'm a year oner and I run through cause I don't see the point of adds I want the end rewards

1 ReplyIf you're complaining about cheese spots you obviously don't remember the cheese spots on archon priest, the ledge on the nexus and the phogoth cheese rock
