Destiny has ruined gaming for me...
I've brought so many new games since it launched ( rise of tomb raider, wwe 2k16, the division to name a couple) and they just sit on my shelf gathering dust because I'm still putting in the hours in the crucible 😂
I fear I'll never play anything else again
Edit: Nice to see so much love for the game in here instead of whining
Edit: there is a bit of exaggeration I do occasionally play other games

I was so excited for Overwatch beta, made it to level 8 and now I just play Destiny again.
-
Activision has much more to do with this than destiny
-
Have you noticed, one company is behind all these scummy business practices. Activision is ruining the industry.
-
2 RepliesI keep needing to dance in all other games I play. But there's no dancing :(
-
In a good way I guess
-
I kinda agree. I am really bored with destiny now and other games just don't compare in so many ways. I'm just taking time off til there is done new good content.

ACTIVISION

They're exploiting our gambling addictions.
-
No, but the rise of DLC (now more commonly known as "purposefully cut content") and micro transactions have. Video games were my escape from the man, and all of his schemes to rip me off, but now even that is gone.

1 Replyive come to the point that i realize i own an xbox one to play destiny
-
It took me over a year to put this game down and actually play the last of us, and I had last if us before I bought destiny. I have a major addiction to this game and I can't figure out why. I hope I can break it this week because Nathan drake is back
-
So much truth. I keep telling myself I'll beat Bloodborne and The Witcher someday...

1 ReplyNo, company greed has ruined gaming. I hear a ps4.5 and a new xbox might be coming out? (I heard from friends, havent researched myself yet) I say lets get some actual good games before making new consoles? How about not breaking the core game up to DLC packages to charge more money? The gaming industry is failing us..

1 Replyim sorry you are consumed by this lack luster pvp. but they need followers to blindly follow them. I play this game for fun, PVP only during Iron banner when it matters. PVE most of the time I play, but I still balance it out with other games.
-
While I still stop to play other games, I still often find myself playing this game the most.
-
No. Maybe for everyone else. Where as I'm like get through the gameplay fast then enjoy the cutscenes. Everyone on destiny is run though all the enemies then skip the cutscene. I play games to have fun.
-
Each game is great in its own respect, I've yet to find that for destiny.
-
I was once worried Mass Effect would ruin other games for me. Then Dead Space. And The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. And Demon's Souls. It's true...some games may just become fancy dusted covers. As long as you're enjoying Destiny...does it matter?
-
Ever since I started playing other games I've learned to appreciate what gaming really is.
-
You have to tear yourself away man. To play other games that is.
-
Nah, I still play lots of other games on X1, PS4 and Wii U. Destiny doesn't have enough content in the end game to grind it forever. It's good to take breaks and come back so it's a little more fresh. I took 5 months off and it's no where near as stale as it used to be (but I will be bored again soon and onto other games till the fall).
-
5 Repliesabsolutely, i won't even play uncharted 4 because of this.
-
I feel exactly the same. Can't stop playing.
-
2 RepliesYeah, it has for me. I can't enjoy anything else except fallout and the Witcher. Say what you want about destiny, it's far from flawless but it's addictive as hell.
