Some people STILL can't run the Raid
And they have all the emblems from challenge modes. Totems freaking impossible for a lot of people why?

The problem is now when I try to join a team to do HM for the first time no one wants to know. I don't need a carry, I've watched YouTube and for me it seems straightforward. Year one there were many guardians helping people through raids (myself included), year two is a different story. I've been gaming for over 30 years and I must say although I love playing destiny it's only recently that I'm considering leaving the game behind once and for all. Made around 50 gamer friends on this game in year one, most now are gone. I can't seem to do the same in year two. It's a shame but in the end I'll keep on gaming

I have given up. Half my Raid team quit Destiny about 2 weeks ago and I have been trying to find people. It's so painful. A good Raid team is priceless.

But it does feel like more work than year one to do the raids and get the challenge done in a timely manner

I had to grind like three days to get golgoroth through oryx done with a competent group. Finally found one got through in like forty five minutes and had fun with the raid it's still possible to have fun in the raid.

I wouldn't be so mad if he died by ads(because I would just have to look over him), but this kid was trying to take golgoroth's gaze by himself AND be the Titan that pops WoD at the bottom. I'm telling him it's not going to work and I CAN POP THE BUBBLE JUST FINE. Anyways back to main point. He's demanding he knows what to do and saying he's elite because hes 320. I told him "kid, I don't care if your 5000, your -blam!-ing up from irrational shit like a damn scrub on his first play through." Tldr: too many kids/new players are getting carried for the raids that once they join an actual group all they do is get held back.

6 RepliesYes and? Are you special? No you dumbass.. i bought taken king 3 weeks ago after i spend the first year playin destiny till i almost died in real life.. I was done for a while.. i missed it so I bought the taken king got hooked up again.. Just did kingfall and got at oryx then everybody had to leave.. So yeah have to finish it so I can get that touche of malice... Btw.. -blam!- you

Ghost needs to verbally abuse players who have high light but didnt complete normal mode thinking they can breeze through hard just because their light is high. Especially on platforms for sisters and oryx and jumping on the main platforms to produce the torn ones in the correct order.

My friend didn't even have a ToM. This is why I say, light level don't matter. Experience > light level

8 RepliesI only have one completion. Got it right before my dedicated team left for other games. I have tried sooo many times but lfg is super salty or you end up with ragers, quitters, and the worst, the elitists who have that boot just waiting to kick someone in the ass. I can get on a team, I will be honest and tell them I only have one full completion and before I know it, I'm kicked from chat and the raid. Wouldn't bug me if it was hit or miss but it's all the time and even more since the dlc came out and now 320 raid virgins are out and about. The team's I get on usually never get past golgoroth. If we do I have countless moments where I think I will finally kill daughters again only to have the team disband. It sucks and I want my team back. I'm very jealous of the titans I see in the tower who have the raid helmet.

been up to totems MANY times and up to oryx once (didnt beat him tho) totems are horrible when people refuse to work together

I used to do CE x 3 every week for the longest time, tried VoG a few times. Then TTK came, all my fireteam moved to PS4, I tried getting with/in other fireteam- with no success ot joy. Afterwards my daughter was in January and there is no hope of me ever dedicating more than 30 mins at a time for this game.

9 RepliesI usually go left on totems, and we usually hear problems coming from the right side. That the aura hasn't transferred, or people are dying. We can even cover for guys not sniping the boomer (since two of us usually try to snipe the boomer of the one who is about to leave the totem). I think a lot of the time the problem is people getting preoccupied with shooting and ignoring their timers. Either leaving too late, or leaving too early (with still 1X left on their deathsinger's power).

3 RepliesI have started switching positions less quickly to clear adds better. For example, I have aura, it passes to the next person, I shoot the boomer, he puts up his shield. I will hang out until the shield comes down to make sure he's dead. Or, I am in mid, my deathsinger's power goes to zero, some knights come out. I will stay to kill them or follow and shoot them, not particularly rushing back out. I am NEVER too late. There is a lot more time than people realize. But it does freak out LFG teammates sometimes, though.
