Do you respect shotgun rushers?
What's your opinion on people who ONLY use shotguns to get most of their kills? Once again what's your OPINION on the subject. Be as disrespectful as you want in your opinion on shotgun users if you choose to

I commend them. Not only have whiny little shits pissed and moaned so much about them but Bungie also decided to cater to the whiners and nerfed the crap out of them. If someone is still able to run up and kill me with one I applaud them.

Much moreso than the respect I have for snipers who just wait in the outskirts like p***ies. At least as a shotgun rusher you're getting up close and personal.

1 ReplyYear 1 shotgun rushers were extremely hated in destiny. Players would rant saying it required no skill. Does hardscoping require any skill? Get over yourselves. If anything, sniping has become the most hated thing in year 2, not shotgunning. Players are free to do whatever they want, you may not like it, but there's nothing you can do about it. Yes, I do rush with my matador, but with so many snipers I am forced to. I can't sit back playing passively like all these kids like to play nowadays. Some of us have jobs, girlfriends, and school. Time is of the essence, I can't just sit back as I see all this red glare in front of me. [spoiler]good players always adjust. Can't adjust? Question how good you are.[/spoiler]

3 RepliesA kill is a kill, tactic is tactic. In war, you do what you can to win. Even if it's annoying. I can't snipe to save my life let alone my fireteam. I gotta use a shotty or fusion. Check my pvp stats. I suck.

Why? Who cares? Just let people get kills however they want! Seems to me the only people that don't like shotgunners or snipers are the people that get repeatedly killed by the same person in the same way over and over. Learn and and adapt and stop whining!

I dont respect hard scoping snipers that hardly ever move. Close quarters shotgunners risk more for less. Its two different slills but right now snipers are not balanced. No flinch and no descope at all. You can shoot snipers in the face with amy gun and they can sti headshot u due to the lack of flinch and sway and any sort of delay

It really depends. I respect shotgun rushers who know when to shotgun rush. Like those people who flank 3-4 people the have been sitting in the same area on the map and ends up getting a triple. I don't respect the people who just run around trying to shotgun everyone, including the people they clearly aren't going to kill.

yes and no. I respect shot gun rushers who are able to close the distance on maps that don't completely favor close quarters like vertigo. I don't respect shot gun runners on maps like vertigo where they are banking on the fact that there is very little ability to strafe, back up, or even kill the enemy before they get to you.

Shotgun rushers are bad. I don't like them. People who use their shotgun in situational situations then I have the respect for you many. Unless you self res'd and did it. Just punch me next time.
