Depraved is the only real option
-
Knight for health and 100% physical damage resistant shield. It also has a really good starting weapon.
-
Assassin. Estoc is overpowered and Spook lets you take no fall damage from certain heights.
-
I've always liked Isaac.
-
Warrior ftw
-
2 Replies-blam!- you Shrek. You little bitch.

1 ReplyDeprived unless ur casul

9 RepliesTo anyone who has this game, how much easier or harder is it compared to the original DARK SOULS
-
Knight, then play how you want. The knight starting stats are the least wasteful for almost any build. If that makes sense.
-
The knight is definitely the best class if you've never played a souls game. He has the best armor out of the starters, he has a 100% physical block shield, and his weapon is pretty good.
-
1 ReplySorcerer is the hardest class to start out with, for a new comer I really wouldn't recommend it. Knight is good for new comers, as is cleric, both deal decent damage while having a pretty good shield.
-
Knight is op but cleric master race anyway

5 RepliesDeprived, you casul.
Knight class goes well for people who like quality builds and a little insurance. Good starter class.
-
3 RepliesKnight, since it's the only class that starts with a shield that has 100% physical resistance, helps a lot early on in the game
-
For first time always pick knight or deprived
-
Knight. It's definitely the easiest starting class, it has a really good shield and some of the best armor in the game
-
12 RepliesKnight. Typical Sword and board. Good for a quality build, which is good for 1st timers to learn the ropes... get a feel for a range of different weapons due to investment in both str and stam. Starting armor is acceptable. Stat wise is ok; looks good enough. I still carry the starter sword as well as a backup for my backup. (My 1st fallback has some low durability...)

2 RepliesHerald is what I started as. Fantastic weapon that has great reach, and Pierce's shield block. It also has a 100% physical resistance shield just like the Knight, and can self heal. Its a great starter class, but one of the little more difficult ones.
