Kinderguardians are SO cute!!
Have you ever been on patrol in the cosmodrome and a little level 7 (light level 42) with almost no grimoire score is running around when the Taken start corrupting the area and they try to fight them and you watch them get the ever living hell blown out of themselves multiple times?

Then I saw a littlelin' A little lv3 Hunter, 200 ish Grimoire doing the mission at the crashed ship. I waved, he waved back. Some other lv40 came about and waved too. We both followed the kinder-guardian killing some (but not all) enemies so he won't die until he disappeared through a loading zone. Me and the other lv40 exchanged a wave before too heading in our separate ways. That day was a good day

1 ReplyI call all the Guardians I pass by during patrol and get match made with in Strikes and Crucible 'friends.' I've waved to a few kinderguardians and they've started following me around, I help them find ghosts too. Some send me fireteams invites and it's all fun. Once spent a while with a level 5 going through the story with them and helping them get to level 34 in one night. Was great fun. :)

6 RepliesI remember back when I was new to destiny, and I would ask the higher level players for help and nobody would help me, sometimes they'll explain things ,but mybe 1 out 50 would help me. I told myself I won't be like that, and when I made max level, I did all I could to help out the new players, now I don't play as much, but any one who needs help I'll try my best to help.

2 RepliesI remember getting my ass beat by "Wolves in the Prowl" in Cosmodrome. Every 3-4 light levels I gained, I would try to take them on - only to have my ass handed to me.

I was with one a few days ago when the Taken showed up. I wasn't planning to fight them, but he was really trying, so I helped out. He died constantly, but he seemed thrilled when the boss died. haha

3 RepliesI love helping. The other day a level 9 or something invited me into his fireteam to help him do the last story mission when you go to the black garden and kill the heart thing. He was far too low a level for that. God knows how he got there when its recommended level 18ish. I guess he was inviting lots of higher level players to help him on every level or something. But I love the thought that he's behind his screen overjoyed because someones helping him complete a level that he is no way prepared for.

1 ReplyI saw a level 4 struggling with a couple of enemies far away on patrol and I helped him out with my sniper, and he just turned around shocked for a second and then he waved to me.

I have sincere respect when I see a low level with 4500+ grimoire. Then you know they're pros and can solo much anything within their light level

I run in and help them. We were all level 7 at one point.

I always wave and dance with them. And I always help them when them so they don't get to mauled by the ahole Taken. Failing to help them is being a bad Guardian.

3 RepliesI was in Patrol when the Taken began infesting the area. Some low level was caught right in the middle of it, so some random and I began fighting them off. As soon as we killed the Taken Champion, the Fallen and Hive begun to duke it out. Sure enough, Urzok the Going to Dominate Your Face showed up. The low levelled Guardian actually held his own pretty well against the onslaught of Darkness.

1 ReplyI love this thread. Wish Bungie would take note for PVE future -all about camaraderie when 'in the wild'😀. I helped someone at Venus Citadel kill Taken boss as he was low light and having a tough time. He sent me a thank you. Made my day!

Every time i see a kinderguardian i always show them the gold chests and as many ghosts as possible. And the dreadnaughts' calicified fragments. I love doing that.

4 RepliesI love the Kinderguardians who are nice and respond to a wave and a dance, and such like and generally have a good time running around with them helping them level up a little by killing the hive majors while they stand above me in the Steppes, etc. It's the ones who decide to attempt to murder me on sight with their auto rifle / grenades / melee that I do not like. Take that crap into the Crucible. Seriously, you see a person wave at you in welcome / dance with you and you follow them around shooting them? Reported for being unfriendly, I'm afraid. Kinda like the level 40s who think the best way to get me to help with something like a Taken champion or Court of Oryx is sniping me. Nope. That will make me leave. Good luck with that champion alone, Buddy. If you'd waved or danced, I would have helped. Shooting a fellow Guardian outside of Crucible is just plain rude.

When I was just a wee kindergaurdian myself (about level 20, 100-something light)(this is around the end of December 2015) I met two other players. Both were new to destiny like I was and were around the same level. None of us had TTK. One day I just got invited to a fireteam while running around the tower and was pulled in with these guys. None of us had mics so we just helped each other through missions and did some pvp. We all friended each other and are still friends to this day. I helped one of them through the TTK storyline and got help with regicide on all three characters. It's been real fun.

Whenever I'm doing patrol and bump into newbies doing public event, I would usually do the add control and bring down the boss's health down and let them have the final kill. I'm paying it forward as I was helped numerous times when I was still a kinderguardian.

Sometimes when I see a kindergaurdian wandering around the cosmodrone I'll mess with them. I equip my ToM go near them and just start shooting in a random direction. They just stand like Wtf as I die. lol
