Lots of Fanboys Defending Bungie Today
So cute. Remember: Bungie needs you guys to defend them. And that says more negatively than anything the "haters" can.

That part was sarcasm. I'm trying to insinuate we don't need Bungie defenders vomiting excuses FOR Bungie. We'd much rather hear the reasoning from the ones implementing changes. At least a more thought out response than a short twitch reveal.

78 RepliesAt this point, it's not so much defending Bungie, it's defending your choice to play and enjoy the game. Around here it seems like genuinely enjoying Destiny, or parts of it, is a bad thing. So we aren't defending Bungie, we are defending the fact that we enjoy playing. Nothing is perfect, there will never be a game that's perfect. There's always going to be something you don't like, and there's always going to be something you hate that others love. This isn't a black and white issue, and anyone attacked over the fact that they like the game is defending their choice to like it; not Bungie themselves. Bungie is going to do what they want to do, which is pretty community generated anyway, they just can't please everyone. But no company can.

All I see as the top posts are people sucking Bungie's figurative dick boasting about how great this game is. This game is shit compared to what it was. Perhaps the community is so stupid that the only thing Bungie needs to do to make people happy is to provide an illusion of new content full of reskins. Bungie gets away with what they do because of the stupidity of the majority of the community.

They literally don't even know how to persent their own game let alone know how to communicate amongst themselves. They look like meth addicts trying to havev 5 conversations at one time. Start one and never finish it only to start another with in seconds. So how the -blam!- does anyone expect any type of thought out response or any type of info that is in-depth about this game. From a company that has no -blam!-ing clue what's going on with their own game other the looking to push more of Microtansactions. Hmm, who here has been running intellect and discipline on their characters? You just got -blam!-ed on this update. Enjoy :)

It's one thing to be critical of something, but to be taken seriously you need show praise where it's due. Bungie is obviously doing something right if still playing after all this time, you're just too stuck in your ego to admit it.

1 ReplyOr bungie recognizes the fact that not everyone will be pleased with everything they do, and that self absorbed individuals who think their opinions to be law of the gaming world really add up to a rather small portion of their actual gaming community. They probably noticed the fact that many of their oldest players are still here, that their game is still drawing in new players, that there are more channels across youtube dedicated to destiny than several other great games. They probably noticed they didn't need to lift a finger to defend themselves because the little comments just don't stack up to the rest of us, and the fans only reply to your post because you're talking down at their favorite game. Personally I think it's hilarious that you would dislike a game and then proceed to spend valuable time to talk badly about it, quite sad.

19 RepliesI don't know about the "fanboy" part, but I see it like this; I will say it as I see it. When I think Bungie has really messed up, I'll say so. If I think they've done something right, I will say so. I'm not trying to balance my comments, I'm just not going to ignore either side. Bungie did some really dumb things this past week, but they also (finally) got some things very right. It's worth mentioning.

It's hard to make a game last 10 years. Activision/Blizzard's job is to make money from the game they published for Bungie and they control what gets released and when so its not all bungies fault. It could be a lot worse
