I mean seriously guys/girls, he's not that bad. He wants what's best for this country. He wants us be a strong nation. I think he's better than Hilary or Bernie.
Edit: over 300 replies! I like the discussions
Edit 2: OK ladies and gents, one of the comments said he is a democrat but he switched it being a republican so he would have a better chance of winning. Is this true? Thoughts?

2 RepliesWell Trump is a racist. Bernie said whites don't know what it's like to be poor, but that's not racist at all.

4 RepliesI generally keep my opinions to myself on most of these topics but I'm feeling froggie, so what the hell.. I'm old enough now that this will be my 6th presidential election I'll be voting in. And I've voted in as many mid term elections as well. And during that time I've supported Republicans, Democrats, and Independents on many levels of government. I'm really just about as non biased as they come in this regard. But I cannot get behind Trump at all for two reasons.. 1) He has zero experience in politics on any level. "But omg DTL that's what makes him great! He has no political attachments!!" Bullshit. Running a country is the hardest job in the world. One that takes decades of grooming for a potential nominee to learn the ins and outs of. There's laws to know, both local and global. There's foreign relationships to build. And knowledge of government procedure to gain. This is stuff people spend their whole lives learning. And effectively running a country is not the same as running a company where you can delegate responsibilities and sit back and collect the profits. Just look at Hillary's email scandal. Does anyone here really believe Trump is knowledgeable enough in legal political procedure to not be sitting in jail for the same type of shit in a year or two? There's just such a tremendous amount of things you have to know as a president. And being a charismatic and successful business man teaches you none of that. 2) I strongly question his motives for running. Trump has been the "billionaire playboy" ever since I was a kid. He feeds off the attention and always has. He says things he doesn't really mean for shock value and supports good things when it's convenient to do so. As long as his name stays in people's mouths.. good or bad.. he's happy. It's literally been this way since the 80's when he was wrapped up with Ivana. I mean.. how many other billionaires do you know hosting shitty reality TV shows? He craves the celebrity status. He's always been so arrogantly outspoken about being the "best" at everything he does. And I can't help but look at the presidency as just another bragging point for his next bestselling book. "The Art of the President".
Forcing Muslims to register and carry special identification cards, deporting all refugees, sending more resources to deporting all undocumented immigrants, using government surveillance on mosques, calling Mexican immigrants rapists and murderers, wants to remove the Internet from parts of the world, some how force Mexico to pay back the trade deficit in full in order to find the wall for China (so technically we'd be paying for it - just being lone sharks and bullying people when we are out of money - imagine if China did that to us), restrict free trade to 'bring jobs back to America', end Obama care yet implement an equally if not even more stupid health care plan, I could go on... If you vote for Trump you have lost the America ideology that it is a land of freedom and equal opportunity. If that Mexican wants to drive up here, learn our language, and work harder than you for a job then it should be his. Technically, allowing undocumented immigrants to legally work in the country (they already are here) would prevent companies from paying them below minimum wage under the table thus making the labor market in that sector more competitive as everyone will come at the same price. Secondly, anyone who has the ability of rational thought would realize Trump is going to send us into a deep depression much worse than what we experienced in 2009. He wants to ruin trade relations - hope others don't follow our suit and make us pay up our trade deficit - like we will do to Mexico. All imports will be astronomically expensive, he would have reduced the labor force hugely (we are pretty much at good average levels of unemployment now - so he won't be "freeing jobs for 'real' Americans"), etc. I honestly think he'd do more damage than Bernie as his policies are much more feasible while Bernie will probably only be able to jack up taxes.
I like how determined he is. Is his personality a little.. Different? Yes, but Sanders looks like he needs to be institutionalized. Hillary just looks like a criminal. I love his honesty.

1 ReplyEdited by Bloom Unknown : 4/17/2016 12:17:46 AMHe is that bad for president because of his personality. I don't think he has the right temperament for it. Close, just too blunt and sharp. It works for him in business to some extent, but I don't think it is a positive in politics. I think he is actually optimistic but also unsure deep down. I don't think he is a horrible person.

Is Trump Really That Bad?
Are you really that dumb?

Fun fact, many people who voted for Obama are now voting for Trump. It seems like people who voted for Obama are now like,"well I shouldn't of voted for Obama, so I'm going to vote for Someone the complete opposite of Obama and maybe things will be better". At least that's what it seems like.

44 RepliesIt's not Trump himself who scares me. It's his followers.

I think he played it too much like a reality show. He could be awesome, but he's put himself out in such a way that he's ruined his chances
-
He's not that good but based on the other candidates he's arguably the best choice for President.

Make America Great Again tbh family

His voters are worse.

He isn't that bad. His retarded supporters are.

3 RepliesI don't like Trump's personality. He has a big ego. But he talks straight up and no bullcrap and isn't afraid to say what he has to say. I do like some of his positions and stances on many problems facing the country. No he's not racist. You can't name one time during this race where he said anything racist on purpose. Although I do like how he speaks his mind, he needs to know when to just shut his mouth. This might just be something to gain traction though. Overall, I would be okay with Trump as president. He isn't that bad. My biggest problem is that many young people hate him because they have ate the lies and jumped on the "Trump is Racist" bandwagon without watching any debates, without researching any of his ideas, and without even hearing his voice sometimes. They just eat up the lies and hate on Trump because it's the cool thing to do nowadays. I hope that the current generation will become more active in politics instead of reading a Buzzfeed post and believing that. If you don't like Trump and like another candidate on another party, and you looked up the candidates ideas, then although you don't agree with me, I respect the fact you took the time to decide a candidate. But I don't respect people who hate one the cool candidate to hate because they take in false information.

He's not as bad as either side wants people to think. The main concern about him i hear is that he is "Bad". Not that he's bad for this or that, and typical stuff that is slung at any right wing politician. I like his rise, as it is a shot across the bow to career politicians, and their bullshit
