"[FRIEND] was added to the game" Notification on Xbox One
ive recetly noticed that if my fireteam were to do an activity, such as crucible or raid, and someone leave before its finished i receive a xbox notification saying "[FRIEND(S)] was/were added to the game".
i only get this notification when someone leaves the fireteam and it always shows my friends that are STILL in my game rather than the person leaving
does anyone else on the Xbox One have this issue or seen this before?

This happened to me too but for me I wasn’t playing destiny I was playing need for speed when it popped up which really freaked me out

to add to what yapperflapper said, ive noticed this happens when the fireteam leader leaves or lags out. whoever becomes the new fireteam leader gets a notification that "XXXXXXX as added to your game" for each player that is still in the game.

I've seen that a few times when people get either disconnected or leave on their own. Was the fireteam leader the one who left? I think I've gotten that notification when a new fireteam leader gets picked from the remaining players.
