I personally think Skolas was the most challenging boss to take down. He was a definite pain in the rear especially during Arc & Void burn, Angry, Airborne and F#cking Lightswitch challenge modifications.
Quite a few people are posting why Skolas is leading the votes when you can solo it now. I should have mentioned, "at that period of time" when the Boss was current which one was the toughest. I can tell you this right now there were not a lot of people light level 30-32 who soloed Skolas in year one.

By lore? I personally think Atheon is the strongest. Hard to say whether Oryx could beat him or not, but he'd stomp Skolas and Crota for sure. General? Skolas during arc burn no Efri's Spear.

Lore-wise oryx Actually: Crota b/c still haven't beat Atheon and did skolas in year two.

1 ReplyWhat!? Skolas was really easy, beat it with only 1 wipe on my first time running it. Small arms and Light switch too...

I'd say Skolas wasn't that hard. You just needed a ton of planning and coordination. Team I first beat Skolas with did it without any wipes (yes, it was year 1)

In game if you know what to do it's fine. In lore oryx wins. Always.

Ppl who chose anything other than Skolas have no idea what they're talking about. He's the only guy that provided a challenge to the point where I enjoyed it
I can tell you this right now there were not a lot of people light level 30-32 who soloed Skolas in year one.
It was impossible, you needed all 3 in order to trade the poison, I believe it lasted just a bit longer than the invulnerability earned when you traded it, not allowing you to trade back and forth between 2. At least that was my experience, I only killed him twice, but I tried many more times than that

4 RepliesLore-wise, Atheon will always be the most powerful.

I'm glad I got to beat skolas during the time he was challenging.
