Why does everyone suck so bad @ Oryx?
I swear I've been trying all mother-loving day long and guardians can't stay alive. If a million bucks was on the line, everyone would still die. Sigh.....

Because it was 5 AM and I could barely keep my eyes open, much less grasp simple timing and mechanics. I was like, ugh, Oryx, you win. *OGNoshkanok has departed*

2 RepliesI think what pisses me off the most are the dudes you find on LFG who think they are god's gift to the gaming world and start bossing everyone around telling them how this should be done and if you are using this or that weapon you need to leave, and when you fail twice they just leave. Had a dude like that last night and I swear people like that need to be punched in their stupid faces. Usually what happens is that dick bag leaves and you finish the round because he was actually the person bringing everyone else down. It's all about chemistry. Shit happens. The group I was with last night we actually had dead knights reappear, our runner got killed slamming the vessel, don't know how that happens and we had 3 people die inside the aura. Not to mention twice spawned inside the shade right under Oryx's sword as he slammed. If everyone just does what they are supposed to do and help out each other instead of bitching and moaning and acting like they are the greatest thing since pickles and salt and vinegar potato chips, it probably wouldn't take very long.

I think a lot of the hardcore raiders have taken a break until April... I've noticed a lot more novice groups being made since the Division and the 2016 lull.. They'll all come back for April - but yeah I've noticed recently that Oryx is harder because people either haven't done it or it's their first time. I love it though :) I'll spend 5 hours on Oryx if it means a 309 can walk away with their first HardMode completion and some sweet loot! I love it :)

I got the other end of the stick. My team got oryx done 1st time using the challenge mode strat. The golgoroth challenge mode however, I don't know how people mess that up so much. Who thought counting 1 to 6 could be so challenging for some people.

If you cant get it done after 2-3 tries find another group
