On the Destiny forums but don't play anymore?
Go away, get out of here. We don't need your negative attitudes telling us "the good news of the -insert new game title here-." If what your playing now is so much better go to their forums.

Edit3: Hearing Destiny is one of the few games in the console space with an active dedicated forum. We all can give Bungie some props for that.

2 RepliesStarting to entertain the idea of quitting cuz I need to get back to life. Spring is near. I need to break the chain of my OCD, that this game has inflamed. I'm at a good spot now. My Titan is 320, all my fav gear is 320. I've got like 150 exotic shards, every exotic unlocked. I can start slowing down and doing just the raids, NFs x3 a week.

Haven't played in a few weeks. Haven't played consistently since October. Game got old. If I never came back I'd be perfectly content. I'll try the free update I guess.

Destiny is a game created to pool in mass amounts of money with minimal effort or money spent during the process. Sure that's the definition of all business practice but when the company manipulates, lies and tricks the customer base is when it turns into bad business ethic. We as gamers have immense passion for the games we play and use them as more than just something to do. We play to enjoy, relax, escape or connect with family and friends. Unfortunately Bungie's original motto wasn't about creating a game they love because the people in charge simply have one goal. Money. It's shown because Investors went with a company that has NEVER created an MMO game before. If the title Destiny doesn't meet the expectations of the yearly earnings goal there won't be Destiny 3. Clearly this practice is highly frowned upon in the gaming community hence the massive backlash from Destiny's player base. If you support the way we are treated or have yet to realize the reality of the situation then go ahead and pay for the next DLC that we already paid for in silver. Get all excited that Bungie released re skinned content or even worse pre made content time gated. Who knows anymore you can't trust Bungie. It's just a matter of time before the last few remaining players see this and move onto better games which I will not mention.

I was away for several months and in that time, my friends and I all hated Destiny. Trashed talked it all the time and played other games. Recently me and a couple of us, "the old trio" as we always were started playing again and it's been a very refreshing experience from other games I've realized. I like it again and so do they, there's hardly much hate amongst us now besides very small gripes and on top of that, others we've been around have been seemingly getting back into it as well. People end up missing it, and there isn't another game I've played that I have as many funny stories and good memories with besides Destiny. There's no other games I can say "the old days" with and remember everything back to VoG up to now.
