To Those Who Use Nothing But TLW+1KYS+Harrowed Qullim's Terminus and the Likes...
You are the reason the game is considered dead right now. It's not lack of content, it's not a boring PvP world. It's because people are using those weapons (or other META weapons), and that's it. Nothing else.
How unoriginal and boring are those people?

Yeah but isn't that the communities fault though? There is at least 50 nerf posts a day on here pulse rifles got cried about and either you run shotgun or sniper there is no in between cause fusions are inconsistent and side arms can be viable at close range only.

5 RepliesI use all those weapons at the moment. They dont make you suddenly good bro. My kd is still only 0.9 (big climb from year 1s 0.4 lmao) i experiment with loadouts, and testing the current 'meta' guns, i realise theres a huge learning curve to using tlw. Its not a 'no skill point and shoot' as the forums would have you believe. Same with sniping. Its tough for your average joe. Ive seen sick plays and montages using tlw and 1kys, but theyre in the hands of superior players. They'd wreck somebody as easy with a blue gun as they would with a last word. And outperform you with a blue sniper if your a casual with a god roll 1kys.

I get the first two, but damn, even Heavy has crybabies, now? It's either launchers or machine guns... They kill you almost instantly. I've gotten smashed by Harrowed and Truth more than enough times, but even with BS rocket tracking I give it a pass because it's Heavy. PVP is boring because all the 'magic' the weapons had has been sucked dry across the board leaving only a few survivors. There was a time you could jump into PVP with almost anything - even with TLW and Thorn running wild. The game is considered dead because a lack of content and an abysmal, laggy PVP experience. Nothing else. If what you say is true, games like Destiny don't need fresh content, just people running around using different weapons every time all the time. Mind blown...

2 Repliesif you don't play meta your making it harder on yourself.. a lot of people (much like myself) typically only play when I have a purpose to. whether that reason is grimoire, bounties, or rewards(talking about trials here), winning is probably a necessity or at least very helpful. so if im playing for a purpose, I wanna get it done ASAP. to me, the argument of "just casual" or "just for fun" crucible doesn't exist... I mean I understand what it means and that many people play that way.. but I cannot wrap my head around why somebody would do that? do something competitive for fun? that makes no sense.. competition is competition for a reason.. you leave your BS at the door and play to -blam!-in win.. and I for damn sure am gonna do everything in my power to do so. I dunno.. that's just me... at the end of the day, I don't think your ever really gonna separate the casuals from the tryhards until there is a separate ranked playlist and casual playlist... when that day comes.. you can load up your casual playlist and screw around as much as you want... until then... the dwindling population left will become more concentrated with tryhards and salt from the tears of their victims.
