To Those Who Use Nothing But TLW+1KYS+Harrowed Qullim's Terminus and the Likes...
You are the reason the game is considered dead right now. It's not lack of content, it's not a boring PvP world. It's because people are using those weapons (or other META weapons), and that's it. Nothing else.
How unoriginal and boring are those people?

7 RepliesIt's not that these guns are good either (except for tlw of course), they are just overused. If you die to a sniper in crucible, its gonna be a 1k yard stare, if you die to an MG, its gonna be quillums, shotgun, conspiracy theory e.c.t. Its just dry... I understand the tlw situation though, it is a different type of hand cannon and promotes a unique playstyle...

Blame the developers for a lack of good gun variety, i hardly see how its a players fault.

7 RepliesHad a crap ton of pvp quests on my warlock I decided to work on. That has been painful. The sheer amount of thousand yards is embarrassing. Mayhem clash, a mode about abilities and havoc, is littered with players sitting in the back using 1000 yard and mida. I have no respect for people that run this stuff. Sadly they all preach skill.

Same argument just the weapon names change. The problem may have something to do with Bungie not trying to balance the weapons. Either way I don't pvp as its boring to me in destiny.

Watch vids of decent well known players from the early days, it's how they play and it's taken this long for the average player to learn how to snipe so now every1 has caught up with the times that why u see it a lot more now

There is at least one of each type of weapon in the meta right now. This is the least restrictive meta ever.

2 RepliesI honestly Hate TLW, but people use those weapons because there [b]good[/b] weapons. Why do you use the guns you use? You either like or they feel/look or you get a lot of kills with them. I personally don't like people who use y1 weapons, the only reason I'll Tbag is if they bagged me, or they were using a y1 weapon. ( that wasn't brought to y2)

Bore off. Why would you not want to use what are good weapons? I've barely ever used 1KS in pvp, mainly my spindle, I don't have TLW or Mida, i have a normal quillims not harrowed but that i use all the time. .....but if I did have mida or TLW and a harrowed you can bet your life I'd be using it and couldn't care less is ppl like you feel the need to come on here to whinge about it.

1 ReplyI got bored of it during HoW. If I play PvP now, for whatever reason, I use different non-meta guns. Can I use Thorn, TLW, 1kYS, Mida, and Terminus? Yeah, but that's so boring. I'd rather go in with something like Boolean Gemini, The Vacancy, and Corrective Measure. Do I enjoy winning? Yeah, but Destiny doesn't reward that.

1 Reply"Foresight 3" is a handy weapon, takes time to use, if you like fusion weaponry try "That Beautiful Glow" if you can get your hands on it.

To be fair, those weapons are considered powerful. Who WOULDNT want to use the most powerful weapons? Might as well use the advantage. It's not like someone's is going to use something else when they got the BEST gun around. Exceptions of not using them include: - I like to mix things up - I prefer other weapons - They don't suit me - I'm practicing by handicapping myself - I don't even have them. There's probably more.

2 RepliesI use whatever I can get more kills with. When I get more kills I have fun. When I get less kills, I have less fun. If I am getting more kills and not having fun I go do something else. I know that's a lot to take in.

No, the real reason by far is lack of content. What your complaint relates to is why destiny will never be a mainstream competitive pvp game.
