Ok, swords will be very useful. And yes during arc burn we didn't use Gally. But the great Ghorn will not be outmatched for everything else. Quodron, skolas, etc....
What's with you guys who are saying that 'PoE is soooo easy now?' Umm, yeah it's easy because we are 320 and it's like 170... Compute?
Based on the amount of people saying that they've beaten skolas with swords, trying to tell me it's easy, I'm concluding that there will be A LOT of crying when Bungie releases this new PoE. A lot.

2 RepliesI just want some [b]mother-loving checkpoints, man[/b]. Even just one, it doesn't even have to be right at the final boss, just something. The lack of checkpoints killed PoE for me just as much, if not more, than the crappy Skolas weapons and their 0.1% drop rate.

I did everything without gally. Only got it like 1 or 2 months before TTK. I will miss having ice breaker more.

On the first week PoE launched, the two guys in my team alredy had a Gjallarhorn from TDB era, so they were really excited to do skolas week one, hell, they were alredy level 34 because Nightfall blessed them with etheric light lol. I had neither of those, i was level 33 with a HoC, and after much team bs, we dived into skolas and well...we managed to complete it after a couple of hours! [spoiler]Thanks Solar Burn <3[/spoiler] So could you do it withouth a Gally? Of Course, but thats going to be a hell of a ride without the heavy ammo glitch, and burns... [spoiler]Yeah, i did Heavy ammo glitch mid Skolas lol.[/spoiler] [spoiler]Plus, if theres going to be taken enemies, dont even get me started on Taken captains blighting orbs...[/spoiler]

I didn't have a Gally until Xur sold it just before TTK dropped. I used Hunger of Crota instead and managed to do just fine.

Who knows, they might add Gjallarhorn back in with this update. If they don't, it'll be the same as in King's Fall, high impact sniper.

I used Ice Breaker for most of PoE. However, once I got the Fatebringer/Found Verdict/Gjallerhorn combo... Everything was easy.

I have played PoE in HoW many many many times and It is easy as hell even without gallarhorn . Yes I have used it but they nerfed Scolas and quadron whatever his name is which wasn't . Only people that rely on gallarhorn or say that something is gonna be harder because you don't have gallerhorn then that my friend means you suck. Although in my opinion I think they should bring back gallarhorn. I mean they nerfed it too.

It's also easier because of the change in enemy shield strength.

4 RepliesPoE is also much easier with swords because against Skolas you can actually block the killing taint at the cost of 1 ammo from the sword. If PoE is brought back, even at lvl 40+ it will be much easier to not wipe because of swords (unless bungie fixes it)
