FINALLY a Taken Shader?
Am I the only one crazy excited that it looks like we could have a VERY cool looking Taken style shader to look forward to in the April update?
Or do we think the image on the weekly update is some new form of enemy Taken Guardians?
Either way, excited to find out!
Edit: As some excellent individuals (below) have pointed out, it does indeed look like PoE gear the guardians are weakring... So... New shaders for us...? Or a whole new style of enemy to face?

Some great ideas below - ranging from shader possibilities, quest ideas suggestions of Taken versions of us in a Strike as bosses, or maybe armour set bonuses that give the effect and also some version of a quest like the Raid mechanic where we get 'torn' but we are all in the Taken realm fully - good stuff!
Whatever it is, lots of excited people - here's hoping Bungie delivers!

Then I grab another M&M and force it to compete with the champion in this deadly game of M&M gladiators. I do this until I run out of M&Ms and when there is only one M&M left standing, I send a letter to M&Ms brand with the champion M&M in it with a note attached that reads: "please use this M&M for breeding purposes."

Every guardian will literally look the exact same, the first week will be hype and cool but after that it won't be.

Maybe it's the Y2 versions of old gear. If so, I can't wait to go back to the old setup of CE boots, PoE gauntlets, and VoG helm/cloak.

9 RepliesActually unique idea that would be a lot of fun: We fight taken guardians in the prison of elders. Final boss is three guardians with Gjallarhorns. We taste our own year one sins. What Bungie is probably gonna do: PoE level 43, 330 light delta scaled. Not even a new taken zone just taken in the existing areas with void pools everywhere. Final boss is just a big taken centurion with a half baked gimmick. Hopefully we at least get prison weapons with real perks.

I would like it to be super hard taken guardians that don't have guns but just supers as an attack. Imagine that fighting blighted stormtrancers, fist of havocs, and shadow shots... but it is more than likely going to be a shader which I am fine with but still I can dream can't wait? :)

3 RepliesI really hope its a shader but to go slightly off topic i really hope that we wont have to earn all the gear all over again and they will let us increase the light from the gear we have. By increase the light on gear i do not mean infuse it.
