Now that people have settled down about the Division, it seems like now's the best time to release info on our Spring Update.
Anyone else getting that gut feeling too?

They'll tell us about how they want us to stay tuned to next weeks update telling us to wait for the next next weeks update to tell us about the spring update
-
They would be quackers not to give us a bit of info.
-
Nope.
-
it will be duck related
-
1 ReplyI'm not expecting details until mid-April, would like some iron banner dates though
-
1 ReplyU will not survive the weekly update ;)
-
And the reason they held back an announcement last week is out of respect for ubisoft and the makers of the division? Maybe you're on to something. Probably not. Spring update will come in May, announcement and details starting mid April. Deej cryptic hints should start soon though, so we have that to look forward to.
-
1 ReplyHa no chance... We're still in the super vague part of the Bungo information cycle. We haven't had the official "we have an update that we're fine tuning the finishing touches on - we'll share more details in the coming weeks" bullshit yet. Once the more specific vagueness happens them you'll know we're close.
-
Is it a squishy feeling, like something is being dumped on you?
-
It would surprise the shit out of the entire community, if they gave a definitive answer.
-
OR! We're just going to talk about Twitch streams and watch a MOTW. But yeah, this seems like a great idea. It's the perfect time.
-
Sal what are the chances I open the forums and this is the first one?
-
Set your standards low. You'll either get what you expect or be pleasantly surprised.
-
Its going to be nothing as per usual. Don't even get your hopes up
-
Not as much trolling as I expected :)
-
There will maybe be a couple details about the spring update, and another "in the future, we'll talk again" from Deej. Better to have your hopes exceeded than disappointed.
-
I think everyone is looking at this wrong, they said spring update perhaps that means sometime in spring they will give us an update as to when to expect something new. As spring starts this weekend expect a vague update the week before summer this update will be vague but it will include a date to expect the changes but that they are not ready to give specifics.
-
No, I'm predicting next week.
-
-
It will probably be released in a twitch stream . Perhaps they give us a date for that
-
I think it's much safer based on the past 3 months to expect very little. Mid and long term plans = none. Spring update will likely be nothing new, just year 1 stuff brought to year 2 = boring. The fall update will likely be the next time we actually get anything new and its best to lower all expectations until that time or risk major disappointment yet again.

Edited by NinjaMatic: 3/17/2016 1:45:11 PMI'd love to see something that gives me hope, but I think the reason all of the Division nonsense has died down is because a lot of people are playing the Division instead lurking the Bungie forums vocalizing their dissapointment. I don't think we're going to hear anything genuinely compelling from them for a while. My optimism is reserved for the long term with Destiny. I think this upcoming update will be good in the sense that it's all stuff that should be done, ie. bringing year 1 raids into year 2, unlocking the rest of the year 2 exotics and bringing more year 1 exotics forward, blah blah blah. I think they are going to simply add some more stuff to the rotation. I'd love to see hard mode, up to 6 player, patrol. That's all good, but none of it is "new" so I find it hard to get too excited about it. My money is on Bungie laying low until the next DLC. I hope their plan is to have a fantastic DLC that works as a teaser trailer/foreshadowing for Destiny 2. Cool story, new area to play on that has a bit of a cliff hanger ending, then four months later D2 drops to pick up, and expand on where we left off.
-
To be honest, I've played so little destiny the past 2 weeks and been enjoying other games. I don't see any content bringing me back to spend the same amount of time in this game. May just keep up to date on news about destiny 2 and see how that game develops.
-
Man I hope so.
-
1 ReplyI agree, but I think it will just be a very small teaser. As in, watch the stream next week and then maybe a picture of Prince uldren or something.

Don't hold your breath. Lol.
